I just bought this.I liked that it was lighter. However it is VERY Dusty, & the cats track the litter more. when they or you step on the pebbles, they turn to dust. I have a sensitive cat & I had to take her to the vet because she couldn't breath. It gave her an upper respiratory infection (she is an indoor only cat). Scooping the litter out after use, makes a cloud of dust. My cat didn't move for two days, & needed shots & blood work done.

My mom recommended and I tried. Love the decreased weight as I live upstairs. However in our multi cat household it was paws down. Out of box boycotting. Blened with regular tidy cat. Same results. Did not like the texture and did not seem to clump as hard. Wonderful concept and I applaud the effort but it was a no go.

We have always used the regular tidy cats litter and saw this and decided to try it. We ended up throwing half of the 35 lb container in the trash and went back to the regular weight. It was just a mess. Litter all over the floor, cat prints on the granite tile, and did not clump at all. If you’re thinking about trying it, don’t.

I have a bad back and Parkinson's Disease. I have 10 indoor rescue cats and just cannot manage the heavy litter any longer. While I truly appreciate the light weight of the litter and how much easier it makes it for me to clean the littler boxes, I really need the price to come down for me to continue to afford the product. I don't want to have to go back to the regular Tidy Cat. I will be forced to if I have to choose between food or litter thought. Please try to give us a better price!?

We started using this in place of the original Tidy Cats and love it! Most importantly, our kitty loves it too. :-) Tidy Cats is the only brand he'll use and I love that I can buy this while I'm out shopping and can carry it in the house without having to wait for my husband to come home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like how the litter clumps so it is easier to clean litter box. My cat didn't seem to mind that i changed litter. I will buy in the near future. My cat didn't make a mess all over the floor with the litter either.

This tracks all over the house, I went from vacuuming 2 times a week to every day. My cat comes out of the litter box and looks as if she has been flocked with snow like a Christmas tree. The litter is everywhere and it also has dust. Dust not so good with those with asthma. The 17 Lbs of product does not last as long and is expensive. It causes me to do more house work to clean it up, and I would have to buy it twice as often wasting time of cleaning and driving to the store. I would not recommend it unless the company makes a few changes in this product.

I run 7 boxes and 200+ pounds of litter and am willing to pay for something that is dust free, does not track and would be lighter.  This is by far the dustiest litter I've ever used and I've used many brands.  Not only did my cast sneeze I did when I scooped.  Very disappointing.  

The scent of all Purina Tidy Cats Lightweight clumping litters is so strong that it smells all over the house. After a day or two, the scent even burns the eyes. It is unbearable. I rated it 1 star because it does clump and it is lightweight. It would be a great if "UNSCENTED" lightweight clumping litter would be available. Scented litter is NOT needed if the litter box is cleaned frequently. And most cats hate scented litter.

I LOVE the fact that this is light weight and has the look & feel that my 2 cats prefer, but the dust that rose from the litterbox as I poured it surprised me since it was advertised as 99.9% dust-free (it is definitely not anywhere near 99.9% dust free). And, the scent is MUCH stronger than the Tidy Cats litter my 12-year old cats are used to - so much so that I am nearly certain at least one of my cats will reject the litter box once it is no longer mixed with the previously used Multi-Cat formula. Ideally, the scent would be much closer to the Multi-Cat formula so there would be no drastic change-over. I can forgive the dust (by holding my breath), but if the scent repels my cat, the product is not worth the much higher cost. I'm still hoping that a comparable product with a milder scent will be available soon. And I still LOVE the light weight. I'm getting a bit too old to be carting 20 lb containers of litter from the car to the house! I would recommend this product only if their kitties are not sensitive to the (overpowering) smell.
