We tried this in multiple scents, and our cats just sling it all over. we have 2 litter boxes and put the standard litter in one and the other had this lightweight style. The regular style was used as expected, but the lightweight was just dug in and tossed all over. I think they were not impressed.

Love the lightweight consistency to this product! This makes storage more practical aand so much easier to use, especially upon opening a new container. It still maintains the same quality of moisture clumping, which allows the product to last much longer.

New cat owner! Now have two kittens and when they would use the litter box their business would smell so horrible!! Tried a few different brands of litter and nothing seemed to work, really only tried this product because of the GLADE in it, and first time the kittens used it I couldn't even smell that they used their litter box, had friends and family over and they couldn't smell the litter box either!! absolutely amazing!!

The fresh, out-of-the-box litter has such a strong odor that it’s just as bad, if not worse, than the smell of a dirty litter box. If I stay in the same room with the clean litter box for more than a few minutes, my lungs start to feel irritated from the smell. I do like that the litter is lightweight, but the perfume added to mask cat odor is horrendous. It spreads throughout my entire home.

I was really excited to try this, my girlfriend and I have a single, beautiful cat and we never had problems with litter until we bought this. It's light as a feather and the jug is practical, convenience-wise, it's great. Quality, however left something to be desired, it definitely have the same odor control as some other litter brands. As this is my first time using tidy cats litter, I can't compare it to same brand similar products, I can only say I was disappointed.

I have been using this for two weeks now and it is working well. I have read some of the other reviews and agree with the scatter, but it is a workable trade-off for me. We have four cats and we were out of town for 4 days. Usually we come home to a stinky house, but not this time! As far as the dust is concerned, the only time I really noticed it was when I first filled the empty litter box. It is not dusty when the cats use it, or when I scoop. It is a bit more expensive than I would like, but I will keep using this product.

Get ready for a blow Purina: this won’t be pretty. I’ve had cats literally my entire life. I know the litter game. I understand the finicky, picky cats who only like that one type of litter or they’ll go elsewhere. I also know the kind that don’t give a hoot. This is hands down the WORST litter I have ever come into contact with. I have a Turkish Van and he doesn’t care about the litter type, as long as his princess box is clean. Yes, I clean it just about every day or so. Normally, we just go for the cheapest stuff we find at Walmart because he’s not fussy, so hey-save some money. It’s also not clumping. Well, they ran out last time, so I decided to try this lightweight clumping stuff. On a scale of 1-10 nopes, I’d give this a solid 439 nopes. I have had to literally wash out the litter from his paws because it is stuck in there. ALMOST DAILY. at first I thought eh, he just needs to learn this new litter. Nope. It always ends up between his toes-and no, there isn’t an excessive amount of hair between his toes. Another HUGE nope: the amount of litter that flings out of the box (it has a lid with a ramp-he’s 13, old man) is so ridiculous, I vacuum literally every time he goes in there. I even have a mini vac plugged in nex to the box! The “lightweight” feature of this litter is useless as well-the one time trip I’m hauling it from the store to my home isn’t worth it. The bag/jug of litter gets lighter as you use the litter, people! It’s so lightweight, that it’s absorbancy is pathetic, causing my cats urine to pool instead of clump. He is older like I said. And with age usually comes the kidney problems. Like I said before, I’ve had cats my whole life and played the “best” litter game for 30 years now. This is the biggest loser in the history of litter. I think pebbles or soil would even be a better choice than this mess. If I could deter one person from buying this monstrosity of so-called litter, the cat world would be a better place. I will never ever buy this product again.

I've been using this litter for about a month and a half. It has great odor control, it is really light, and goes a long way but it has excessive dust. When I pour it into the box it make a huge cloud of dust which works it's way into the central heating and air unit which I then smell of the litter (not feces or urine) through the entire house. I only recommend this if you do not have allergies, asthma or central air.

When I found this LightWeight I was delighted. I've used it in my home now for over a year, and with 12 litter boxes, it really does help with the odor. People who visit don't even know I own 1 cat, let alone 12. I also liked that since I am older it is nearly impossible to carry the regular litter. Too heavy!. However, unfortunately I am going to have to go back to regular litter. The cost is too prohibitive, especially when I have to buy 6-8 jugs a week. I would not recommend it simply because it is double the price of regular litter, and my wallet suffers. It's a shame, but we all do what we must do to save money.

 I've tried every kind of litter from organic corn or sawdust to what I always come back to, tidy cats clay scoopable cat litter. I have a family of five cats, so I spend A LOT of time in the litter box, so you can imagine the excitement I had when I saw there was a light weight tidy cat litter. I tried it as soon as it came out and I tried it for about a month or so and I've found that it doesn't really dry and is really hard to scoop, it gets really stuck to the litter box. I'm switching back to regular weight tidy cat now. I love the idea of the light weight tidy cat I just hope they improve the absorbing problem, I'd love to try an improved version.
