The new packaging is mot an improvement. The handle on top is the easiest to lift and maneuver, especially for a woman who lives alone with 12 cats. The plastic bag inside the new design of the box is impossible to figure out and them to pour. The whole box has to be lifted. And held with one hand. Makes a mess. I might have to look for another brand. (Too bad, because the litter is fine. ) is there a video showing someone pouring the litter into litter boxes?

The litter works fine, clumps well, but the oder of the litter itself make the whole house smell and the dust is incredibly awful. Eventually my cats stopped using it and opted for the carpet. I can't blame them. This stuff was making us all cough and there was dust all over everything. I switched to another brand and everything was fine. I think the dust must be very bad for everyone's lungs.

I really like the way this product clumps. It's easy to scoop, it doesn't fall apart; and while it does track some, I've not owned a litter that doesn't track. I like the way it performs, but I would like to see a fragrance free option as scents bother me.

Ive used regular scooping TidyCats(red lid) for years so I tried this. A jug generally lasts about a month with scooping and adding every few days. I wanted to dump this Lightweight after just 3 days-the smell was awful...like month old litter!! It was dumped after 8 days on garbage night. In addition it was dustier and since its lighter the mess carried farther from the box than usual. I am far from impressed and will be returning to the 20lb jug of old school heavy stuff. The once a month lugging beats the smell and weekly dumping

I was intrigued by the lightweight claim. It's true, the product is much lighter than the traditional clumping litter, but there's much room for debate when it comes to the 99.9% dust free claim. This is by far the most dusty litter I've ever used! My laundry room is coated in dust. I wold not recommend this product based simply on the dust production factor.

I REALLY LIKE THE IDEA OF THIS LITTER! HOWEVER, THE SCENT WAS NOT MY CATS OR MY FAVORITE. THE SCENT IS TOO STRONG AND MY CATS ABSOLUTELY HESITATE GETTING IN THEIR LITTER BOXES.THE LITTER IS GREAT THAT IT IS LIGHTER AND DOES IT'S JOB BUT UNFORTUNATELY MY CATS AND I PREFER THE FRAGRANCE THAT IS IN THE INSTANT ACTION FORMULA. PLEASE MAKE THIS LIGHT WEIGHT LITTER BUT WITH THE INSTANT ACTION FRAGRANCE, WHICH HAS A NICE LIGHT FRESH SCENT. I CAN ONLY GIVE 3 STARS DUE TO THE FACT THAT I WILL NOT PURCHASE THIS AGAIN BECAUSE OF THE SCENT (WAY TOO STRONG). I FEAR MY CATS MAY REJECT THE LITTER BOX.

Awful product. Easy to carry but that is it! Tracks Ll over the house and cats leave clay paw prints all over my hardwood floors as well as on my new upholstered furniture! This is the worst. Have always been happy with tidy cat, now considering alternatives since I have yet to receive a response from the company!

lightweight is great but way to dusty...made my cat sneeze everytime he got in the litter...way to expensive.......was hoping to use it cause I have to climb up 4 sets of stairs to my apartment.! Wish I could get a rebate for the money I wasted (fixed income leaves no room for waste)

I have used silica crystals for many years for my 2 cats. The cost and having to clean out the box weekly was very taxing. Regular clumping litter is just too heavy for me to manage. While this light-weight formula clumping litter ends up being comparable in price to the crystals, I do not have to totally clean the box every week. My only complaint is the smell. I, and my cats, prefer an odorless litter. I live in a relatively small condo and I do not appreciate smelling the cat litter scent on my cats and throughout my living space. I buy unscented products, whenever possible.

After hernia surgery, I was delighted when I finally was able to purchase this lightweight litter. But unfortunately, it tracked all over my house, attached to my kitties fur and feet, and then crunched like chalk into the floor. Not worth the convenience of the lighter weight.
