Poor cats have to their paws cleaned out every day since using this, it get inbetween their paws and clumps there. My 2 cats are 9 years old and I have used a variety of litters, I would not have changed from Max scoop but it is no longer available since this product replaced it. My male cat is very picky about his litter box and for a week he has been super vocal at night going in and out and in and out of his litter until desperate to go. It also does not dry out and becomes a wet mess in the litter which is scooped daily but seems that this litter is less absorbant soo you end up going through double. The litter is everywhere regardless of the one meter of litter mats I placed, EVERYWHERE! Really, really dissapointed! This will be shared with the vets as this is not a product any cat or guardian should have to endure.

Thank you, Tidy Cats, for this new product! It has "literally" changed my life. I don't have to wait for a friend to drag the heavy litter in. I don't have to clean the box every day. I don't have to smell stinky stuff. It's not just that the litter weighs less: It has cuttracking by about 2/3, so I don't have to vacuum and mop the bathroom floor 3 or more times a week. And user Molly has had no objections to the new product.

It clumps well too making it easy to scoop and use the litter longer. Love the lightweight formula also as I have a bad back and bags of litter can be taxing on my body. All around great product in my opinion.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always use tidy cats for my cat since we have him like 2 years ago and we love that brand no problem with that.. but I never use the tidy cats lightweight, I jus use this brand and is great no heavy I can lift myself to my cart is great.. is just like the normal tidy cats litter box but lightweight I recommend this to everyone who has cats..

I was thrilled to learn about the new lighter cat litter. I have suffered back issues and never liked lugging the original home from the store. But the light weight stuff does not eliminate odors like the original and the tracking throughout the house is a deal breaker for me. I will go back to the original and just buy in smaller sizes. Hope you don't stop making the original or I will have to switch brands.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the Tidy Cats Lightweight 24/7 Performance because I travel a lot and I have someone to watch my cat and I want to make sure he is well taken care of and his littler box smells compl tell fresh.

I just bought this "new" Tidy Cats Lightweight after buying into the 99.9% dust free claim. I am uncertain how there test and evaluation team came up with that number but I assure you that this product produces dust. I just poured it from the box into a clean litter pan and the dust billowed out of the pan and created a breath taking dust cloud in my utility room. Not good will not purchase again.

Buy this litter regularly and like the way it worked with my littermaid. I will still buy Tidy cat as it does work without putting to much strain on the motor. But I will no longer be buying it from Sams as I pay for a plus membership and now am being charged for shipping and the value and incentive to purchase from Sams is now gone.

I have always used Tidy Cat and was thrilled when I saw the lightweight litter, but I will be going back to the original weight.  The odor control is definitely NOT the same.  I have two cats and scoop twice a day.  When I come in from work, I can smell the litter box as soon as I open the front door.  This never happened with the original litter.  The dust also seems to be worse with the lightweight litter.  

After losing my cat of 17 yrs I finally welcomed a new baby into our home. I was very excited to try the lightweight litter. It is fantastic for my back and Pugsley doesn't notice a difference from the shelter. I have noticed an increased grittiness and I don't miss a day cleaning out the box to control odor.But it's more than worth it.
