Just bought tidy cat litter for the first time this week. I am now completely sold. All the other litter I have tried had odor after one day. We are on day seven and no odor! Tidy cat has made taking care of the litter box easier and fresher. Thanks tidy cat!

I liked the fact that this litter was lightweight however its created a HUGE mess in my house. Its horribly dusty and I'm finding litter all over the house. This was a waste of my money, especially since I had to buy new litter to replace this. Should have stuck with my old kind in the first place.

I was really excited when I found out how really lightweight this stuff was! Unfortunately, the cats found it to be just as lightweight - it makes it even easier for them to kick extra litter out of the box! This isn't something that can't be managed with a little extra sweep here and there, but I have noticed a difference. They seem to get it stuck to their feet even easier too, and it just ends up getting tracked all over the floor surrounding their box. But to be honest, I'm almost willing to deal with the extra mess just to avoid using those heavy packages!

I bought this litter about a month ago and it is the worst little I have ever used.  The litter is so light that it stays on the cat when he comes out of the cat and is now all over the house.  I have to vacuum in front of the litter box everyday something I have never had to do before.  I have litter on my tables, in my kitchen and in my bathroom.  Basically throughout my entire house.  With a newborn this is a major concern of mine.  There is also a major odor problem with this litter.  My cat is an antisocial biter and scratcher who would be put down by any other owner who would not understand he has an anxiety disorder that causes this behavior.  He does use his litter box religiously so I know he is not marking the house but when we walk in at the end of the day it smells as if he has gone in every room in the house.    I will never use this litter again and will be switching back to my old litter today.  

I appreciate using the Lightweight formula in the "travel" litter box for our two cats because we need to pick up the box and move it often - i.e. truck to camper, camper to truck, into a cottage, etc. We use the regular weight at home because those boxes stay in one place. I am disappointed that my store no longer carries the lightweight version so I have to shop elsewhere for it now. I like to be a "one stop" shopper!

My 11 year old son has the litter box as one of his chores. When it's time to do a complete change of litter (not just scoop), the bag is too heavy and I end up doing it anyway. This makes it light enough that he can handle it without me. Score one for Mom!

Love that it is lighter; love that it clumps nicely; love that it scoops very neatly. Hate that it is dusty; hate that cats track it everywhere. Always used Tidy Cat and they were dust free and did not track all over. Please fix this part on the light weight cat litter.

I loved the idea, but the cost was more than I really could afford. I finally had a chance to try it when there was a coupon attached to the product in the store. Two things I noticed was that we went through the litter much quicker than the standard product... it didn't last as long. The second thing was that I felt like it didn't really do the basic job of clumping like the standard version. It was wetter which made it messier to scoop. I am on my second (and last) container... the ONLY reason I am using it again is because I had a chance to purchase it at about half off. I just cleaned the litter box of the mess when I decided to write this review and share our experiences with it. It does stick to things... kind of like static cling. I would be concerned with cats ingesting too much while grooming.

I never thought i would think of cat littler when i thought of "innovative" but i just want to give some positive feedback to your product developers. you read my mind! i have been wanting a lighter litter and i dread having to carry it back from the store. this was perfect- easy to carry, smells wonderful, no sig difference from the heavier litter i was using before. thanks for fixing a feature that actually matters- weight!

I was super excited to see this product and try it out, as I live in an upstairs apartment and the "lightweight" quality is a big plus. However, now that I've used it for over a week, I've soundly decided that as soon as I go to the store and purchase some of the old Tidy Cats formula, this stuff is going straight into the trash. Pouring the litter into the box created a virtual smoke screen of litter dust, which is similarly kicked up every time it is scooped. Likewise, my cat no longer smells like...well, cat...she smells like Tidy Cats Litter ALL THE TIME. Seeing how much of a dust cloud it creates when I scoop it, I can only imagine the dust storm when my cat uses the litter. And, frankly, the thought of all that overly perfumed dust being inhaled by her (and not to mention me) really bothers me. That and the last thing I want to smell every time I pick up my cat is her litter. That dust clings to her and everything else in a three foot radius around the litter box.
