When we bought our 2 Maincoon kitty's we had to try lots of litter because of my breathing issues. Tidy Cat won 3 years ago. I just got light weight Tidy Cat litter and I hate it! The dust is bad, I can not breath when cleaning it every day, it sticks to the cat fur so the litter is all over and it does doesn't work on the poop smell. Waist of money!!! I will stick with the normal Tidy Cat litter it is the best.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love using the Tidy Cats Lightweight litter. It's at least half the weight of regular litter and work really well. I actually don't mind cleaning the cat box now. The litter does a fantastic job of covering up the smell. I would recommend this product to anyone.

Ive used a lot of litter in my time, and nothing clumps better than this lightweight style from Tidy Cats. It can be a little "dusty" from the boys tracking it out of the box and during cleaning, but it does an incredible job of maintaining the solidity of the poops and pees. Also lightweight means they're lighter to carry and easier to store. Love this product.

For a company that makes pet products, you should realize that a lot of cats won't use a scented litter. My cat used it and it clumped real great but the scent is way too strong. I could smell it as soon as I came inside my apartment. Would love for you to make an unscented version as the light weight is great. That would make it an awesome product.

I have broken vertebrae so though that I would try this liter. It is a lost easier to carry - but beware! It is the worst, most tracking litter that I have ever seen. I see litter all the way on my living room furniture (far from the bathtub!). If a cat urinates - you have to wait hours for it to clump - huge muddy mess on scooper whenever you remove it. The scent was fresh when I put it into a freshly washed pan - yet smells all the time with no items in it after three days - I keep thinking that someone "went". Yes, it was lighter - NO it hurts my back more for having to vacuum, sweep and even vacuum the furniture all the time...and it is nothing like fresh step or scoop away - the box never smells with those products. Purina, you need to remove this product and fix it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Tidy Cats Lightweight was so easy to lift and be pour! Even the lady at the checkout register was surprised at how light it was. I really like it because it's easy on my back and it has a great deal of control over odor!

My cat is very finicky and is likely to act out if anything in his routine changes, so I've stuck with Tidy Cats for several years now. He is very sensitive to smell but evidently likes the smell this product, and I like how it masks the smell of his leavings.

We have two cats, Tinkerbell and Izzy. Both have adjusted very easily from the older, non-lightweight litter. It is much easier to handle and transport. Seems to clump well and keeps odors in check. Only two things that would make it better are a little better clumping and less dust. Says “dust-free” but not quite. Overall a huge improvement for us.

I bought 2 containers of this product because I thought finally, something that's NOT so heavy to haul around! I have a 18lb cat with a big liter box and have always used Tidy Cat (sometimes mixed with a clumping product) so I was thrilled about something light weight. It does last longer I think, and it also mixes well with other products BUT I would not buy it again.....it's SO SO dusty. Even cleaning the box stirs up dust and this is when it's been mixed with another product (that I know does not cause this problem)...back to the drawing board Tidy Cat--I'd love a light weight product as I'm an older person

I have been using Fresh Step as long as I can remember. For odor control and for dust control and for clumping ability. Well it just kept getting more expensive but seems like it was so dusty lately... so I decided to switch and give Tidy Cats a try. Glad I did. I have 10 cats in my house! Yes 10! and I really need something for odor control. I scoop a lot so the light weight ability was an added plus and the cost was even better. But the thing I liked the most was the fact that there is almost ZERO dust! and the clumping is awesome! I am so glad I switched!
