I bought this item hoping it would be my new go to litter for my furry family members. I am a long time buyer of Arm & Hammer cat litter, but I'm not as satisfied with the formula changes they've had. I like to try new litters in hopes that they are a better litter, and that my cats will approve. I bought 3 jugs of the 12 pound Tidy Cat LightWeight cat litter. I poured 1 jug and part of another into a rubbermaid tote that the cats use as a litter box. The tote sides are high so the cats are less likely to tract litter outside the box or kick it outside while digging. While pouring I noticed a lot of dust, and that is even with pouring the litter while touching the bottom of the box. Within a few hours, I noticed a trail of litter coming from the spare restroom where the litter box is located. By the next morning there was litter all over the house, and in places the litter is usually never found. I found litter in the master bedroom and bathroom that is on the entire other side of the house. The last straw was when I found litter on my bed in the master bedroom. I usually vacuum the house twice a week, and then again before we are going to have company over. With the Tidy Cats LightWeight Cat Litter, you will need to vacuum daily, and then again before company comes over if you remotely care about the condition of your house. The litter is so light that it sticks to the cats and will end up all over your house. I loved how the litter dehydrated the feces, and made cleaning the litter easy. Being so lightweight the litter doesn't offer much in the form of odor control. If Tidy Cats could workout the issue of traveling litter, and odor control, I'd gladly give LightWeight litter another try. I love the concept, but the product isn't perfected yet.

The texture is crunchy, which helps with dental health, and dogs seem to love the flavor—tail wags all around! They’re also great for training, as they’re easy to break into smaller pieces. Plus, they don’t have that strong odor some dog treats do, making them pleasant for owners, too. Overall, a fantastic treat for any dog!

It's so light, I can't stand it. It's so easy to haul the scooped litter from the cat boxes in the basement upstairs to the trash. It clumps and doesn't saturate the remaining litter, making it long lasting between full changes. Somewhat dusty though.

I have always used other Tidy Cats litter and have been pleased. However, I am disappointed to find that the light weight litter was not 99.9% dust free as they claim on the back of the bottle. You can actually see the cloud of dust when scooping the box. My cat has a chronic upper respiratory condition and I rely on Tidy Cats to live up to their claim. I will not buy this product again, but will remain a Tidy Cats customer.

Excellent clumping, liquid or solid, better than any other Tidy Cat litter. Keeps odors down. Being light weight is a double edge sward...easy to carry and use. But its' lightness makes it easy for the cat to kick it out of the box and track around house

I bought this yesterday after looking at reviews in a couple of places. I liked that it is lightweight, however it is NOT dust free. It also is all over my house because it sticks to my cats paws. I have a mat in front of the litterbox that normally does a decent job. I realize that this will always be a little it of a challenge. But it looks (and feels!) like I just scattered it around the house. To compare: I have been using Arm N Hammer lightweight and did not have near the issue with the tracking.

I bought this product about a month and a half ago. It's been great! I thought maybe because it was lighter weight, it wouldn't last as long, but that has not been the case. I have one cat and clean out her box every other day because she spends half of her time outside, and I still have a fourth of the container I bought left (after originally filling a new litter box). Great product!

I have been using the Light Weight Tide Cats for about a month now. I have a couple of complaints. The first one is that it very dusty when pulling or scooping it out of the box. #2, it doesn't keep away the cat smell like the regular Tidy Cat. The weight it nice, but that is all. Need to make some changes. I'm going back to the regular one.

Most importantly, my 2 cats like this litter. I appreciated the light weight and ease of pouring. The litter is not dusty and does not have a cloying fragrance. It clumps tightly and it is easy to maintain a clean litter box. Wnderful product!

I purchased this a month ago and gave it a fair try. It makes a terrible mess when the cat paws at it to cover up and it turns into a giant brick if you don't stay on top of use all day long. Will not purchase again. Even throwing out the remainder. Not worth the headache.
