I decided to try this in a multicat household-I love it~so easy to scoop much better than digging thru the other litter my mother in law is 83 and she has a hard time scooping other litter but this makes it so easy for her to do. the only problem is the cost--with a multicat house it will be very expensive for us to buy

I was excited to try the new lightweight litter, until I got to the cash register. I was going to buy a couple jugs but went home with only one. And I'm glad I did. I have two cats -- they're 17 and have always been very fussy about their litter, especially one of them. He wouldn't go in the box with the new litter. My other cat did use it, but as others have already commented, I found myself having to clean his paws every time. I liked how it clumped because my cats go quite a bit, so that was a plus. The bigger negative was the scent. Cats don't like new smells, and I also think whatever the fragrance ingredient was caused one of my cats to have a reaction in the form of a little infection (runny stools and diarrhea) that started shortly after introducing the new litter (nothing else in their routine had changed). So I've gone back to the regular clumping formula that has the little crystals (but not the new one with Glade scent) they've been using for years (still Tidy Cat brand). 

That dust that pours into the air when you clean or refill the box is non-existent. It controls the odors like there is no tomorrow(I tested this by not cleaning it and it took about 4-5 days to smell). Anyone who finds a little that doesn't stick the the cats paws AND works just as good if not better, please inform me. XD I have yet to find one that doesn't stick to their paws. Even Arm&Hammer does. No need to low star it for this one reason, idiots. I will and do consistently recommend this litter to everyone i know. The only thing I hate about it is the price. lol.

I bought this, excited about the decrease in how heavy it is. But I feel it works even better than any of the other tidy cats litters to control odor too. The downside, of course is the price. Almost twice as much?!? For that price, it is not something I will buy regularly.

I tried Lightweight Tidy Cat litter several months ago. At first I loved the Lighweight convince. Shortly thereafter I realized there was more litter scattered out of the box. Then realized our cat was tracking it all over the house. Then I re it was all over her favorite cushioned bed. The Last straw was that I realized that litter was imbedded in her paws. I Had to help her get it out.

We bought some of this because we liked the lighter weight and hoped it would be less dusty. Never buying it again. The cat tracks it all over the house, which is just gross and disgusting. We're throwing away what is left, tossing what remains in the cat's litter box and going back to what we used before.

Works pretty well. I don't think I noticed much of a difference quality wise, if anything maybe slightly better with the traditional litter. Granted it is lighter, but the price difference for the lighter litter doesn't do it for me. While it works well, I would rather save a little extra money and get the heavier litter.

With my 4 cats hauling litter is the name of the game! I really appreciate the light weight litter.. It works well, the dual control regular clumping litter is my favorite though.. It's worth the subtle differences to have the ease of the light weight!

We have 12 inside cats, so we have 7 litter boxes. We are in the process of switching all the boxes over to the light litter. Sadly, we have taken to wearing painting masks because the litter is so dusty. Even though the container says it is 99.9% dust free, it isn't. So far, two of our cats are willing to use it, since they have no choice. Of the other 10, most are still using the old litter. One seems to have come over to the lighter litter. Soon, none of them will have a choice.

This cat litter is HORRIBLE!!! I have been purchasing this litter for a good few years but clearly something has changed in the formula. This litter clumps into huge, wet, clay-like clumps and never dries. It leaves the litter pan as well as the litter scoop wet and caked with litter. This is not a one off bad batch...I have had the same experience with the lightweight, multi cat, and instant action formulas in just the past month alone. The worst part is my cat now has litter so caked in one of his paws that it is going to require a trip to the groomer or vet because I cannot get it all off of his paw in between his toes. If I could give this litter negative stars I absolutely would! Save your cat and your money and purchase a different brand!
