I only bought this because Walmart stopped carrying World's Best Cat Litter, so I decided to try this instead as World's Best is very expensive in pet stores. This Tidy Cats product is TERRIBLE! The very first time my cat used it, he used it to urinate and it pretty much turned to mud. It didn't absorb or clump the urine at all like it should, instead it just got all stuck in his paws and bit on the rest of him as well as he tried to bury it. Afterwards he was tracking it all over the house and trying flick/scrape it off his paws on whatever surfaces he could find. I can't say enough bad things about this product, DO NOT buy it!

I switched to your LightWeight product and then went away for the weekend. The light weight litter box tipped over and my two cats continued to use the litter that was spilled on the carpet.  What a mess!  Now I have to clean the carpet. At least most of the liquid was absorbed by the litter.  I will stick with your regular weight product.

Hands down the best tasting cat litter on the market today! Most of the other litters are so crunchy and hurt my teeth, but this formula is so smooth! The flavors are pretty awesome, too, so floral and bold! After a week of use, it gets a little stale, probably from the cats walking around in it, but hey, they leave me little chocolate nuggets as a bonus!

I have two female kitties (6 and 14 years old). While it's apparent that they like some brands/formulas better than others, they have never been fussy about litter. With Tidy Cats Light, it's obvious from the continual poop just inches from the box that they're not liking this. (Vet confirms no other issues that would lead to this behavior at this time.) Additionally, the perfume in the litter is SO strong that it has turned on allergies for ME that I've not experienced in many years! We're going back to the cheap, perfume-free, slightly heavier litters. Despite the sticker on the bucket, neither the cats nor I are satisfied with this product. Hopefully, Tidy Cat will go back to the lab and resolve the issues with their product. At least put a "perfume" warning on the bucket...... there's none on the bucket I've purchased.

While this product is lightweight, it has several downfalls. This litter tracks everywhere! You will have you vacuum out every day. Also, while it may smell okay when you open the box, the smell of litter pee will soon consume your home. This is the worst litter for odor control. And finally, the packaging make it very hard to pour from the box. Buyers beware!

I LOVE the fact that this is light weight and has the look & feel that my 2 cats prefer, but the dust that rose from the litterbox as I poured it surprised me since it was advertised as 99.9% dust-free (it is definitely not anywhere near 99.9% dust free). And, the scent is MUCH stronger than the Tidy Cats litter my 12-year old cats are used to - so much so that I am nearly certain at least one of my cats will reject the litter box once it is no longer mixed with the previously used Multi-Cat formula. Ideally, the scent would be much closer to the Multi-Cat formula so there would be no drastic change-over. I can forgive the dust (by holding my breath), but if the scent repels my cat, the product is not worth the much higher cost. I'm still hoping that a comparable product with a milder scent will be available soon. And I still LOVE the light weight. I'm getting a bit too old to be carting 20 lb containers of litter from the car to the house! I would recommend this product only if their kitties are not sensitive to the (overpowering) smell.

Although the lighter weight convinced me to try the product, I am NOT happy with its performance and will not buy it again. It tracks through the house more and does not clump quickly enough. Consequently, my cat steps in wet litter just trying to get out of the box. This causes gooey clumps of soiled litter to stick to her feet. Then she shakes her feet to get the goo off and sends bits of urine soaked goo flying everywhere. These stick wherever they land, all over the wall and curtains, and it takes hours of time and effort to clean up the mess! I never had these problems with the traditional Tidy Cats clumping litter. For me, the lighter weight litter makes my life harder, not easier so it is not worth it.

I decided to try this a few weeks ago. Bad decision. Spent today changing the litter boxes right back to regular scoop-able litter, as I walked in my front door yesterday and realized the smell was just intolerable. It was so bad, my husband, who has the worse sense of smell ever, even moved one of the litter boxes out of a room he was in. Not only was the smell like old school clay litter (perhaps even worse, and I'm really a clean freak and constantly scoop the boxes clean) but this stuff tracked all over the place. I do mean everywhere. Not just on the mats under the boxes, and around the boxes, but clear across the room, and even in rooms nowhere near the boxes, as if stuck to the cats.

I was delighted to learn about the lightweight litter, asked my grocery store to carry it. The lightweight part is great. However, it's so lightweight that the cats track it everywhere (incl. furniture) and I'm constantly vacuuming it up. So, sadly, back to the heavier weight stuff.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cat litter is super lightweight. It's easy to pick it up and pour in your litter box and carry from your car to your house. There's not dust at all. It clumps up really good. Both my cats and myself recommend this product.
