I tried this lightweight version of Tidy Cats on a whim based on a store display.  I love how light and easy it is to move around and carry.  I will likely never purchase it again, however, because it was extremely dusty.  So dusty in fact that every piece of furniture within a few feet of the box was covered in a think layer of dust at the end of each week just because of routine changes and use.  I don't mind dusting once a week, but it was bad enough that I felt compelled to dust every time I emptied the box.  For the significant additional cost, I'm not interested in also increasing my daily household chore load to include the dusting required.  It was also extremely uncomfortable during changes and I had to make sure I was looking away to keep the dust out of my eyes, nose and throat.  The dust was a huge minus for me and one that I cannot deal with for the convenience of a easier to use package. I gave it two stars, because it is definitely convenient, but I will never purchase it again personally because it's just not worth it to me.

..........But NOT worth it! This stuff is so light that is sticks too easily to our cats paws and was the worst litter for tracking all over the house!! We tried it for a week and tossed it all out in the trash(even the 2nd container of new product).

I have 4 cats and a 5 litter boxes, I was was happy with my regular cat litter, but saw this was litter cheaper and so I decided to try it. I bought 4 boxes. BIG MISTAKE! I am very paranoid about smells and clean my litter box every day. BUT after using this product for just 2 days with regular cleaning, the whole house smelled. Now I am out 48.00 for two day job I will never move away from FreshStep again. EVER!

This week, I discovered 100% Dust Free Tidy Cats LightWeight litter. It is (pardon the pun) the cat's meow! I foster cats and kittens for a local shelter, and my foster room is also my reading room / office. For years, it's had this fine film of litter dust on everything. It seemed like I was dusting every day. I cleaned out the litter boxes and put in the Dust Free litter, thinking it would help. OMG ... it's a game changer. Same great litter, with none of the dust. Thank you, Tidy Cats!

I just can't lug 40 pound bags of cat litter anymore and have 2 indoor cats. I bought 2 jugs of lightweight litter and will not buy the old heavy litter again. Also it is not as dusty as the otherlitter I used. Thank you Tidy Cats, you've got a new customer for life!

We bought some of this because we liked the lighter weight and hoped it would be less dusty. Never buying it again. The cat tracks it all over the house, which is just gross and disgusting. We're throwing away what is left, tossing what remains in the cat's litter box and going back to what we used before.

I have Rheumatoid Arthritis so I was excited to try this lighter version of a great litter.  I have 6, sometimes 7, cats; and clumping & odor control are important.  This, regretfully, doesn't clump well; so when it doesn't clump, it's hard to remove and tents to leave some odor.  Was disappointed.

Purchased this because we live in a third floor walk up and carrying heavy boxes or bags became a serious chore. It stands up to the name as far as being lightweight, but the odor control is horrible. After our cat used this litter for a day or two the entire apartment smelled. We have since switched back to our old brand. If the odor control is improved I will definitely try this product again.

Makes big large lumps of dump. Easy to retrieve and scoop up daily. I do have to vacuum up some of the litter off the floor that my cat kicks or throws with her paws, seems like on purpose to keep me busy cleaning like I don’t have anything else to do but pamper her like a princess. It’s a good brand that actually works. Highly recommend.

My can't won't enter the litter box more than once a day because the smell is so overwhelming. It doesn't control the odor whatsoever. In trying to clean the box, urine causes the litter to become like pudding. I'm very disappointed and want my money back for what is an awful, and expensive, product!!
