I've tried many different brands of cat litter to save a buck, and every time I ALWAYS come back to TidyCats and swear I won't ever buy any other kind again. They have the BEST quality litter....very little to no ash/dust and the pellets are actually round balls unlike the cheaper kind that is little tiny dust grains. I never smell the litterbox and my cat never has any issues using it. Thanks Tidycats!

I have 4 cats and a 5 litter boxes, I was was happy with my regular cat litter, but saw this was litter cheaper and so I decided to try it. I bought 4 boxes. BIG MISTAKE! I am very paranoid about smells and clean my litter box every day. BUT after using this product for just 2 days with regular cleaning, the whole house smelled. Now I am out 48.00 for two day job I will never move away from FreshStep again. EVER!

We have 3 cats. My husband and I are disabled and have to carry litter to the second floor. We were really happy to see Tidy Cats Lightweight litter. We have always used Tidy Cats. I clean the 3 litter boxes twice a day. After using the litter I found that the litter dust was on every surface on the second floor. It is starting to dull our hardwood floors. I have to clean the dust constantly. It is now being tracked to the downstairs and I have been noticing footprints of litter dust on the hardwood floors. The litter dust is awful. We have gone back to the regular Tidy Cats we have used for years.

I could no longer lift the economy size of scoopable litter due to back problems. I would have to buy a smaller, more expensive package. This litter allows me to carry the more economical size package of litter. The cats do track a few more particles on the floor as the litter bits are slightly larger than regular scoopable litter. However, all litter tracks out of the litter box some. Therefore, I have to sweep a bit anyway. The cats had a little adjusting as the feel of the litter is a bit different. But, it didn't stop them from using the litter box. The bags of used litter are so much easier to carry to the trash. And, the litter box is so much lighter to lift that I can easily move the litter box to clean it. Love this litter option. The only problems is that stores can't keep it on the shelves. I have a disability & appreciate the light weight of this product. However, this is the worst litter for tracking. I bought 2 containers of this litter for my 3 cats hoping that it would track less then the standard Tidy Cat clumping litter. Multiple cats plus hardwood floors mean I clean my house every single day. This stuff tracks twice as bad as other Tidy Cat litters. The second day of use I swept up 1/4 cup of this litter throughout my house. I have 3 25 x 40 inch litter mats around the litter box, but you would never know it looking at this mess. And don't get me started on the "99.99% dust-free" aspect of this product! I guess compared to a haboob in the Sahara it is "99.99% dust-free."

I have been using this product for a couple of months, and have been pretty happy with it. Clumping works well. Odor is not too bad. I have four cats, two boxes. I don't think it is possible to be totally odorless. Still, with daily cleaning of the boxes and weekly changes of the litter, it works well. A quick sweep every day takes care of scattered/ tracked litter. I really like the lighter weight. The product I used before came in 40-pound boxes, and was very hard on the back.

i  like the klitter and the lightweigtness of it, makes it easier for me to carry around.  But the absorption smell doesn't really exist.  I have 1 cat and when he uses to box I have to go immediatley and scoop the poop or the urine clumps,out because if I don't its gonna stink

Alas a lighter litter! I have two little boys to tote around...I do not need the hassle of super heavy litter. This solves that. Not to mention tidy cat simply is the best for our two cats...it clumps the best and keeps the smell down the absolute best. Thank you!

I was delighted to learn about the lightweight litter, asked my grocery store to carry it. The lightweight part is great. However, it's so lightweight that the cats track it everywhere (incl. furniture) and I'm constantly vacuuming it up. So, sadly, back to the heavier weight stuff.

My dad bought some and LOVES the light weight. I have serious medical issues and cant help much with scooping cause it is a LOT dustier than the regular. We are fostering a kitty for Second Chance Companions as well as have 3 cats of our own and am always willing to try new products.
