[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Tidy Cats 24/7 Performance Lightweight Litter was effective at soaking up urine and eliminating the smell. Some cat litters don't do a great job at keeping the smell contained, but this product certainly did! I would recommend it to all cat parents.

The fact that this litter is lightweight is great. Both my wife and my daughter can pick up a big bucket and pour it into the litter box. We also found that it handles odor well is great, too. However, that's there "Happily Ever After" ends because beyond that it's a nightmare. The dust alone is horrible which isn't good for asthmatic people like my wife. We can dust the rooms adjacent to the litter boxes (never mind the rooms that have the littler boxes) and within a day it looks like we never dusted at all. I have a constant buildup of dust in my computer and keyboatd and when I walk barefoot in the house my feet get horribly dry. But wait, there's more! Not only is the dust bad but the tracking is horrible as well. This stuff gets everywhere and it's hard to keep up with. Great concept trying to reduce the weight of the litter, but in the end, I'd rather have a heavy litter container that doesn't track or get dusty than a lightweight container that is dusty and tracks so much.

My mom told me to try because of the lightweight.. My mom ways seems to be right so I listened.  I have two cats, this litter is amazing!! It's lightweight and left minimal odor. It clumped so well I didn't even need to refill as I normally do. The litter does seen to be a bit more messy when my cats jump out but it takes two seconds to vaccum up.  I love this and would recommend! Will purchase again. 

Terrible allergy to this litter. What's in it? Product was purchased by accident instead of the usual and I've been sneezing like crazy. We usually get the free and clear litter. Wish I knew what was in it so I could also avoid it in other products.

I bout Tidy Cats LightWeight little for the first time about a month ago and now I look for every time I buy litter. The product works just as well as the regular Tidy Cat products and I love not having to lug heavy litter down to the kitty box in the basement.

Cats' sense of smell is immensely greater than humans. My cat won't get in the litter box with this litter. PLEASE sell a lightweight UNSCENTED litter. The stench of the perfume in this litter (and so many other products these days) is overwhelming to me and my cat.

I just cleaned out 2 litter boxes (of 5)  and replaced the old litter with the lightweight.  We have 4 rescue cats, two of whom are tripods and need to be able to support themselves on 3 legs while using the litter box. Not easy with this new litter. I hate it - dust all over the place; does not clump well; the cats kick it out of the boxes so more to clean up;and  it sticks to the scoop.  I was excited to try it as I'm small and have 5 boxes to fill, but now I have to go out and get regular litter to replace what I used PLUS I'm landed with two large unwanted Lightweight Litter.

I just got a kitten last month and have tried tidy cats and BLUE brand cat litter. The Tidy Cats worked wonderfully and the kitten had no issues finding or using the litter box. The BLUE tracked significantly more than the Tidy Cats and the Tidy Cats definitely trumped over smell reduction.

I switched to your LightWeight product and then went away for the weekend. The light weight litter box tipped over and my two cats continued to use the litter that was spilled on the carpet.  What a mess!  Now I have to clean the carpet. At least most of the liquid was absorbed by the litter.  I will stick with your regular weight product.

I have had cats for my entire life and was intrigued by the idea that there was a new light weight litter...so I bought a container to try. It totally is NOT worth the price. The litter absorbs pretty well, but the perfume was so strong and the odor was continuous...it gave me a headache! And this litter tracks terribly. I was forever trying to clean up the tracked particles. I would NOT recommend it.
