I've always used Tidy Cats for my kitty litter boxes. I was skeptical when the Lightweight litter came out, due to the more expensive price, but it is so worth it! It really is lightweight and even stays lightweight once you clean the litter box. I go through a few buckets every month or so and it really is amazing not to lug the super heavy buckets into the basement and back up again on garbage day. I'll only use this brand and type from now on!

I have bad arthritis and this lighter weight makes a difference for me. I can carry this container much easier than other brands. I have two female cats and they like this litter. There was no issue when I changed and the formula works well for two cats.

I was so excited when Tidy Cats came out with a lightweight product!  I ve always had to have some help getting the regular weight in the house;however, after using the new stuff for a week. I will NEVER use it again!  It did not control the odor and I had to change the litter sometimes twice a day.  My cats ""flung" it all over.  The biggest problem was the litter didn't dry and when I went to clean the box it was soaking wet underneath. My scoop broke!!  Anyway, I'm going back to my old tried and true heavy Tidy Scoop..........wasted 12.99!!!!

I was so excited when I bought the first jug. I have five cats, so I use alot of litter. I am an avid Tidy Cat fan (regular). But, I am so disappointed with the Light Weight Litter. The odor control is good, but my house is covered in the dust!! It will take forever to clean it all. I am going back to Regular Tidy Cat. Told friends NOT to buy the "Light" litter.And yes, it tracks more too. I think you need to go back to the lab.

After my cat pees in the lightweight litter it starts to turn into a paste immediately. It then sticks to his tail, bottom and paws and he tracks the litter EVERYWHERE. He then spends the next few minutes flicking his rear paws to get rid of it and it flies all over the place. Worst litter on the market.

I bought 2 jugs a week and a half ago. The litter clumps great and easy to clean, BUT after 4 days the ammonia smell from urine is horrible. I even added the entire 2nd jug of litter and it did not help. I dump the entire litter box and went back to what I used before. My house now stinks like ammonia / cat urine, which never smelled before. I HATE this litter

I love the concept of litter being lighter and easier to carry. However there's too much fragrance/perfume to the product, which I certainly don't care for. And the litter tracks too easily away from the litter box, frequently getting stuck to kitty's paws and being left all over the house.

I bought this by mistake but figured I'd give it a try. While I do appreciate the concept, I was actually very disappointed with this product. My main issue is that the tiny pieces get stuck between my cat's toes and she ends up eating them when she grooms herself, or tracking them all over my house and into my bed, GROSS! I haven't noticed this problem with any other Tidy Cats litters so I will not be purchasing the light weight litter again. Also, my cat is a kicker, so this litter ends up on the floor all around her box and I've found that it is very hard to sweep up all the little pieces!

This cat litter is HORRIBLE!!! I have been purchasing this litter for a good few years but clearly something has changed in the formula. This litter clumps into huge, wet, clay-like clumps and never dries. It leaves the litter pan as well as the litter scoop wet and caked with litter. This is not a one off bad batch...I have had the same experience with the lightweight, multi cat, and instant action formulas in just the past month alone. The worst part is my cat now has litter so caked in one of his paws that it is going to require a trip to the groomer or vet because I cannot get it all off of his paw in between his toes. If I could give this litter negative stars I absolutely would! Save your cat and your money and purchase a different brand!

I like the price for the product and I like the lightweight feature what I don’t like is how it starts to clump together but doesn’t stay solid enough and leaves particles behind that you can’t scoop up so that box begins to get smelly quicker I have used several types of brands and I find other clump better but don’t have the scent I wish one cat litter would be scented and clump hard enough for multiple cats
