[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I LOVED the Tidy Cats Lightweight litter that I received from Pinch Me! Not only was it lightweight, but it did an excellent job controlling the odor, and it clumped extremely well! This is definitely a product that I will continue using!

MY CATS HATE THIS LITTER! In fact, they refuse to use it. It's been quite a mess cleaning up after them. It has too much dust. And now I find out you no longer offer the litter they will use -- the Breathe Easy clumping litter. I guess I'll need to find another brand of litter entirely!!

I am very disappointed with the performance of this litter. I was optimistic but quickly realized this was not the litter for me. I'm surprised Kitty didn't mess on the floor in protest of it. I use a sifting-liner system in my box and this litter just could not keep up. Luckily it doesn't last as long so I only had to deal with it for 1 week. When wet it is very soft and breaks apart into soggy blobs that refuse to clump and leak through the sifting liner, spoiling the next layer of fresh litter. On the bottom (non-sifting layer) I was horrified to find a pool of urine that had failed to absorb. I've also noticed if Kitty steps in her puddle before climbing out of the box it cakes on her feet and she leaves gross, milky-white paw prints all around. When dry, because it IS so light, the litter sticks to Kitty's feet and she tracks it ALL OVER the house. The KatMats just can't help this litter come out of her toes. I liked the light-weight convenience of the container and the odor control was decent. But this litter just is not the right one for me. I will definitely be returning to my normal litter: Tidy Cats Scoop 24/7 Multi-Cat.

The scent of all Purina Tidy Cats Lightweight clumping litters is so strong that it smells all over the house. After a day or two, the scent even burns the eyes. It is unbearable. I rated it 1 star because it does clump and it is lightweight. It would be a great if "UNSCENTED" lightweight clumping litter would be available. Scented litter is NOT needed if the litter box is cleaned frequently. And most cats hate scented litter.

Both my boyfriend and I were excited to see this new product - we have (2) cats each, so the litter box is a challenge for both of us in our homes. We loved that the litter was so lightweight. HOWEVER -this is a terrible product - we both agreed that it is heavily scented, does NOT clump and scoop efficiently, is extremely dusty, and overall ineffective. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS VERSION OF TIDYCAT LITTER. We are going back to using any of the original versions of TIdyCat, which clump well, etc.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a free coupon from Pinchme to try Tidy Cats Lightweight cat litter. It was my first time trying a light weight type. I really liked it. Besides being easy to carry it lasted longer before needing to be dumped. It formed tight clumps and I didn’t have to scrape the bottom or sides of the litter box like with the regular brand. The only disappointing thing was it is not as low tracking as my regular brand.

Loved the litter but the dust was unbearable. Worst dusting cat litter ever used. Husband upstairs started sneezing immediately. Whole room was covered with dust. Can't be healthy for cats or people! Regular Tidy Cat Scoopable user. Will stick with that even though it's heavy.

The litter, although lightweight, tracks everywhere! It is so light it clings to my cat's paws and fur. I literally find it everywhere in my house - over 100 feet away from the litter box. I have a very clean cat who wipes his paws even before eating, so it is not my cat. I rarely leave bad reviews, but I had to with this product.

This litter does not stay in the litter box! My cats have this litter stuck to their paws and it is scattered all over my house. I had to soak one of my cat's paws with a wet cloth to remove the litter stuck between his pads. I bought 2 of these and will be returning the 2nd one ASAP. I am very disappointed with this product and will not recommend it. It also has a very strong odor that my cats do not like. I will be purchasing the regular Tidy Cats from now on.

I was pleased when I first bought it because it was much easier to wrangle into the house. Then I put it in the litter boxes. I am finding lots of it tracked all over the house, which hasn't been a problem before. I've found it stuck between the paws. I will not be purchasing the lightweight litter again.
