I bought this litter because I have a very bad back metal rods in it so the lite weight was a huge selling feature. We recently adopted an orphaned kitten bottle fed him for my special needs son to take his mind of his upcoming heart surgery. Well poor little Buckey keeps getting litter stuck in his paws. He tracks it all over the wood floors leaving tiny paw prints everywhere! What a disaster! We never had this problem with the heavy duty box of Arm and Hammer guess I'm just very disappointed that you would market this knowing that it does this. Now I spent money on the largest bin of Tidy cat Lightweight for multiple cats you can buy and am stuck with it. Also while trying to care for my special need child.

Claims to mask odor but the smell control only lasts for one to two uses. Litter scents don't usually stick on my cat but this one does. NOT a good thing to smell. Plus the litter gets EVERYWHERE! No amount of sweeping helps. There will still be some pieces I find afterwards in various areas of the house. The litter is also very dusty and smoke appears when scooping. Bad for your lungs. It being lightweight doesn't make all of this worth the stress.

Horrible. My cat would leave gross little footprints because this stuff stays wet for a while and dissolves and gets all over her paws. And the dust was insane. Get the clump %26 seal instead—it only comes in the big box containers but it lasts forever and clumps way better. So much less mess. Don’t get this.

I loved the fact it is light weight. Less dust. Less tracking the litter around. He used it for 2 days then started coughing and pulled a towel down off the shelf near his box and used that instead. He refused to use the box till I put the multicat tidy cat litter back in. He loves that and so do I cause it covers the aroma from the box. It is just heavy when I buy the big box of it. Yes I have 1 cat but use multicat anyway.

Horrible. Just as the title says, the litter has a very strong and unbearable fragrance. Even though it's such a strong fragrance it doesn't even mask my cat's urine. The smell is so bad I had to move the litter box to my balcony. The entire apartment stinks of that litter and it gets even worse when it's mixed with urine. I never remembered litter being this unreliable when I was younger.

I bought this about 2 weeks ago and I love it. Works as well if not better than the regular weight litter. My picky cat likes it too, which is why I love it, if she doesn't like how the litter feels, she will use the floor. She didn't have any problems with this at all!! It had great odor control too which is always a plus. Thanks!!

I was disappointed when I couldn't find Maxx Scoop litter anymore because it was pretty ideal for my needs and didn't really think it needed improving. I was intrigued by the lightweight feature though so decided to try the Tidy Cats Lightweight. It clumps easily, smells nice, and is very absorbent. However, it gets tracked all through the house super easily which is very frustrating. Also, when scooping, there's a very fine dust that comes off the litter which I don't enjoy breathing in. I won't buy it again, I might try the non-lightweight version and see if that's better.

 I've tried every kind of litter from organic corn or sawdust to what I always come back to, tidy cats clay scoopable cat litter. I have a family of five cats, so I spend A LOT of time in the litter box, so you can imagine the excitement I had when I saw there was a light weight tidy cat litter. I tried it as soon as it came out and I tried it for about a month or so and I've found that it doesn't really dry and is really hard to scoop, it gets really stuck to the litter box. I'm switching back to regular weight tidy cat now. I love the idea of the light weight tidy cat I just hope they improve the absorbing problem, I'd love to try an improved version.

I do not do reviews of products, but I will for this one because it's that good. I was using another brand of litter that had a rose and chamomile scent but they don't sell it in Hawaii anymore. For six months I've been trying other litters until 4 days ago I bought tidy cat lightweight and I am amazed. Even if my former favorite litter would suddenly be sold I would stick with this tidy cat litter. I live in a 500 sq ft apartment and this is the best odor control litter I have tried and while I've not tried every type I think I've almost tried every brand. The first time my cat's used the litter I thought that me neighbor was doing laundry and then I noticed the laundry smell every so often and I thought I need to ask her what detergent she uses cause it smells fantastic. It took me until the next day when I cleaned the litter boxes to realize where the smell had actually been coming from. What a lovely surprise that instead of my living room smelling like a public restroom for 15 minutes after my cats go potty, now it smells like someone doing laundry. Very very satisfied customer. Well worth every penny.

I use the light weight liter and love it I have 2 cats and 1 dog the cats were my sons who is now a Unite states Marine and is swerving in japan he misses his cats but they are older and cant go with him but the tidy cats is all i buy for there liter box
