[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I usually am hesitant to use most clay based litter for my elderly cat but because this Tidy Cats 24/7 Performance Lightweight Litter claims to have zero dust I was willing to try. I have to be honest that I sure was amazed how great this litter actually is, no dust and very effective clumping ease! I definitely will purchase!

Claims to mask odor but the smell control only lasts for one to two uses. Litter scents don't usually stick on my cat but this one does. NOT a good thing to smell. Plus the litter gets EVERYWHERE! No amount of sweeping helps. There will still be some pieces I find afterwards in various areas of the house. The litter is also very dusty and smoke appears when scooping. Bad for your lungs. It being lightweight doesn't make all of this worth the stress.

I have been using Tidy Cat Litter ever since it's been on the shelves. When the light weight came onto the market I would purchase litter for three litter boxes. It still didn't cover up the odor. I'm sorry to say that I just purchased 14 boxes of the new Arm & Hammer litter. Less than a few seconds the odors are gone.

I was so excited when I bought the first jug. I have five cats, so I use alot of litter. I am an avid Tidy Cat fan (regular). But, I am so disappointed with the Light Weight Litter. The odor control is good, but my house is covered in the dust!! It will take forever to clean it all. I am going back to Regular Tidy Cat. Told friends NOT to buy the "Light" litter.And yes, it tracks more too. I think you need to go back to the lab.

I started buying this when it came out...it not only is easy to handle but the litter is much better....when you drop in box it doesnt come back at you the other litter s are great but heavy ...and the litter doesnt come back at you like the others..

Like most, I purchased this product in hopes of saving my back from hauling the usual containers.  While it scooped well, I find that the 99.9 % dust free claim is extremely misrepresentative.  I would actually cut that number in half.  Twice my cat was choking from the dust particles.  Not to mention the extra cleaning I had to do in my bathroom b/c of the dust in the air.  

I have been through my fair share of kitty litter. I've tried, well not me personally, pretty much all of them. I have to say that so far this is my favorite. It is light weight, clumps really good, and is easy to scoop. Mewmew and I absolutely love Tidy Cats Light Weight Litter.

As an expecting mother and cat owner, I have to be careful lifting heavy containers of kitty litter. I used to think the best thing about being a pregnant cat owner was that my husband had to change the kitty litter because of health risks. But now being able to lift the kitty litter is a perk, too! :)

This formula does not "hide" the odor of regular use by 2 cats as well as the multi-cat clumping formula. This formula produces more dust and seems to get get caught in their paws and spread through the room more as well. The only positive is that it is indeed lightweight and easier to carry!

The litter is so light, it clings to my cat like little Styrofoam balls. It's not heavy enough to fall off her, even with two litter-catching mats outside her box. It clings to her fur, her paws, her tail. When she comes out of the box, she tracks it everywhere. It's awful. Going back to my old litter.
