I like the idea of lighter weight litter.  I foster for a rescue group and always have 4 or 5 litter boxes set-up at the same time.  Lugging 30 or 40lbs of litter at a time is a work out but paying almost twice as much for the same volume of litter is definitely cost prohibitive.

I saw this in store but had been reluctant to buy it at first since I was ok with my current brand of litter. After reading all the great reviews though I decided I should give it a shot and I'm so glad I did! It's so light and still covers bad odors! Plus my cat hasn't felt the need to kick this litter out of the box like she used to. Everyone should at least give this a shot, you definitely won't regret it!

I bought a large container of this and was so disappointed. It makes a huge mess. It is so light that when the cat comes out of the littler box the stuff comes out too. I did not find it lasted very long. The odor was terrible after only a couple of days with 1 cat. It was tracked all through my house. Sorry about the bad review but I thought you should know.

I was really excited when I found this litter but have been really disappointed. It gets everywhere because the cats track it out of the box. Also it is the worst litter I've ever owned smell wise, it not mask smell! I won a year supply of these coupons and was excited to make the switch (especially bc I live in a city where I have to carry my groceries home, lightweight was a great development!) but not worth it, my free vouchers are not worth having a year of misery. 

Love this litter! When I first got my Maine Coon I used some of the other Tidy Cats litters (Powerblend, 24/7 Performance, Instant Action etc), but ultimately wasn't that impressed with them and switched to Fresh Step instead- The Fresh Step clumped a lot stronger, tracked less, and smelled better, in my opinion. However, I always hated that it came in 25 lb boxes that were pretty unwieldly to carry if I had other shopping to do. And with such a big cat, we were buying litter pretty frequently. So, when I saw the Tidy Cats LightWeight commercials, I wanted to give Tidy Cats another chance, and am thrilled that not only is it super light weight as advertised, it clumps great and has very little dust (not sure why other reviewers have said it's dusty). The only little negatives are that it does track a bit more than my old Fresh Step, and it's a little more pricey. But it's great to be able to easily carry and transport two or three of these containers at a time, and I really do think it's the best clumping out of all the Tidy Cats litters. Some of the others were very muddy clumpers, which made the litterbox hard to clean and smelly. This works great, though!

I really like the lighter litter, I've been using Tidy Cat for 20 years and groan when I have to pick up a new container. This really helps. Two issues though; - It's a bit more dusty than regular T.C. - Since it's lighter my cat is tracking it around the house more, much more stray litter ending up on my couch for example. Good, but still work to be done.

I love that this litter is unbelievably light weight. It makes it especially easy because my litter box is in our basement. Not carrying heavy litter up and down the steps is so nice. It also clumps just as well as regular litter if not better. I highly recommend this product.

I bought thus product to try because I had a coupon. Not only does it cost more than regular tidy cats,the amount of dust it makes is unreal! There is a constant 8 foot radius of dust around the litter box. It clumps better than the original type, but not so much better that it's worth the dust. I'm quite disappointed.

I bought the light weight blue and didn't like it, so I bought this one to try. I have a bad back and wanted the light weight litter to work so bad. This one covers urine and feces odors better than the light weight blue, but it had too much perfume smell for me. This one is better than the light weight blue, but I will go back to the regular blue.

Urine clumps but stays soaking wet forever, which means it STINKS! Same with solid waste. Just sits under litter and remains wet & smelly. Scooping every single day didn’t fix how terrible the litter smelled after first use. My cats stopped using their box completely and started going on the floor. Had to bleach the boxes and buy different brand of litter for the 1st time in 40 years because I can’t find regular 24/7 clumping anymore (way better)
