After trying several different formulas for my daughter Similac Total Comfort was the only one that worked for her. She was pooping regularly and no fussiness. And then came the pro total comfort. I though well almost same ingredients so what could go wrong. Let me tell you, my daughter was having projectile spit ups. Haven't had to change so many bibs and clothes throughout the day. And not just hers even mine. If similac total comfort was already a great product why change it and make it so difficult to find. Similac please bring back the total comfort because the pro Total is awful.

I love this formula but I wish they had the ready to feed on the go bottles or big bottles. I buy the newborn ones when I can find them but she's up to four ounces now. I just use it to supplement breastfeeding but she does really well on this. I also use the pro-sensitive when I can't find this.

We have been using this new formula for a few days now. We've noticed a few things: it helped our baby with constipation and gas after feedings, however, we've noticed it does not mix very well. Compared to other similac formulas, we've noticed clumps in the formula, and have to take the bottle out of our baby's mouth to continue to shake the bottle during feedings. If not, we find chunks of formula sitting in the bottle and nipple.

My son is normally breastfed but I needed to supplement for various reasons. He loves this formula, but the only drawback is the odor. It makes his burps stinky and it does stain a bit of it gets on clothes. I can certainly look past these though for his comfort and happiness.

My son has been using this formula for many months now and does fine - apart from some regular spit ups (we've tried Pro Advance and Pro Sensitive as well, but this one has been the most tolerable). However, there is one MAJOR flaw in this product. It does NOT dissolve easily. Whether you use warm or cold water, doesn't matter. It always leaves lumps behind that then clog the bottle. If you keep shaking it forever, it will dissolve but result in SO MUCH foam and bubbles that baby ends up being super gassy. For lack of better options, we're sticking with it, but definitely unhappy. Every feed is a monumental task of "just enough" shaking / swirling to dissolve, minimize bubbles, keep taking breaks during the feed to unclog the bottle due to lumps and then deal with baby's gassiness.

I used Similac Total comfort for my son last year and I could not say enough great things about the product. The new Total comfort Pro version is horrible. It doesn't dissolve well, foams horribly and has a bad smell. I started my daughter on Total comfort and she was doing great. The new pro version makes her very gassy. I Will Not be using this Pro version at all - bring back the original product.

We never tried the original formula, and I can see there are several of those who preferred the original total comfort but I can't speak to that as we started our little guy on the PRO. My son has an incredibly sensitive tummy, breastmilk had him breaking out in rashes and caused horrible reflux, when we switched to formula (pro sensitive) he tolerated it much better but after a week or two he became constipated with painful gas; I originally was unaware that PTC was more gentle than the sensitive blend and within a day of switching he cried less, was less colicky, and his painful gas significantly decreased. I also am happy they added the prebiotics for immune support! I am very satisfied with this product and thrilled to be getting great coupons each month to make it more affordable.

My little guy started off so well when we began using “Total Comfort.” He gained weight and was less fussy - practically a new baby immediately. Then y'all switch from “Total Comfort” to “Pro Total Comfort” and something is very different. His stools are all loose and more frequent than ever before. He is uncomfortable because his stomach is often upset. I am sure this is a great formula if one would start his/her baby on it, but the abrupt and sneaky switch has caused problems for my little one. Trying to figure out what to switch to since this isn't helping him out anymore because we aren't sure why Similac did this?

I switched my son to the total comfort formula and he immediately had a change where he was even more gassy and seemed as if he was in pain. His poops were dark green and smell rancid. He went from have bowl movements regularly to maybe having one a day and he seemed to be constipated. We had purchased a couple cans and are very disappointed with the results. Upon reading other reviews it raised concerns because like other babies, our child has developed a rash around his neck and covering his abdomen as well. Formula is expensive and it's unfortunate that we cannot return or get refunded for the formula. I would not want another baby to experience the what we have, especially when the label states that the formula would "comfort" the child but it has done the complete opposit

I was on the site doing research about Alimentum because the past few weeks my daughter is waking up screaming and gassy and can't poop .... i guess im not alone she has been on Total Comfort since she was a few weeks old and it was Great!! It didn't even occur to me that the change from Total Comfort to *Pro TotalComfort could be the cause! but like so many other parents i am having the same issue , since the change she has been waking up ever hour in the middle of the night screaming , crying and straining with hard rock like poops and dealing with days of consitpation, she has also started spit up (she never really was a puky kid). So it really does stink that the formula was changed and now i have to scramble around to try and find a new formula ... Change it back! Please ! lol I would of given this formula 5 starts a few weeks ago but now maybe 2 starts. I hope alimentum helps FOR ALMOST DOUBLE THE COAST! will be reviewing Alimentum in a few days.
