I tried the regular, and sensitive formula from similac and my little boy was not having it! I was so stressed and felt so bad for him and the gas pains he kept having! As a brand new mom, I had no idea what to do. I decided to try this formula before soy, and I'm so glad I did! Not even 24hrs and he is already feeling better! Similac is awesome!❤

We went thru so many formulas before we finally found one that worked for my little girl. It was the regular total comfort. Went to buy more and noticed it was now the pro total comfort... no warning that changes were coming. The new formula has made my daughter just as uncomfortable and gassy as before. We are back to middle of the night screaming and SO MUCH spit up. I thought after a few weeks she'd get used to it, but she hasn't. It's been horrible. Where can I find the regular total comfort? I need her comfortable and happy again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter has been on breastmilk for the first 6 months of her life. Now switching to formula my doctor recommended Similac Pro-Total Comfort. After a few times of her having this we are switched over and she is doing well. No complaints so far.

Our baby was started on the similac pro advance in the hospital when we had her in September. A few weeks ago she was having screaming fits so her pediatrician advised us to try the similac pro total comfort. The first day my baby used it was great we immediately didn't have any screaming episodes. However after another day she started having dark green diarrhea and I mean it was to the point of leaking out of her diaper it was like water. It also smelled horrible. At first I thought it was just her body adjusting to the new formula so I gave it two weeks and my baby went from having 1 dirty diaper a day to 5 or 6 constantly runny. It was so bad she broke out in a rash. So we have now taken her off of it. I know all babies are different but I now see other people having the same problem. Since taking her off of the formula her first dirty diaper was back to normal and shes now not going 6 times a day. She's also eating more and is so much happier.

All three of my kids have been on similac and ONLY similac I would probably recommend pro total comfort, sensitive, and advance due to my three kids taking all of them. My daughter was the only one who could take similac advance, my second son couldn't due to him throwing it up and always being constipated so they switched him to pro total comfort and it improved but not fully so sensitive was next and he did AMAZING! With that one, my third son who was born in Dec. 2019 started on similac advance and didn't take it well either, same problem as my second son, so of course they switched him to pro total comfort and again it worked AMAZING with him. I don't think I'll ever use another brand other than similac, I always recommend it to my friends, and close family members. Because even if once can doesn't work with baby there's one out there that they have that will.

I really wanted this to work, but it didn't for us. My baby is mainly breastfed, but since I gotten mastitis on one side. I wanted to give him some formula to make him fuller until my supply is back up. I had a sample of this formula and decided to purchase two big cans. I did see some mild diarrhea and with the sample, but both my husband and stepmother said it doesn't look like it. It's supposed to look like that. Also, he started to spit up a lot. It only increased everyday he was on this formula. He was also super uncomfortable after every feeding, crying, bloated, kicking his legs up...almost like constipation. Everyone made me feel like it's normal for newborn to have liquidy poop, constant spit up, and uncomfortable. I did order another formula I used before from Europe for my first son that came in 3 days ago because I dislike to see him so uncomfortable. Yesterday, I ended up switching the newborn's formula around noon cold turkey after my stepmother said he had 4 diaper explosions with diarrhea and kept spitting up for the 3 hours she had him. It's not right. Since I switched him, he had one more mild diarrhea diaper and literally no more spit up. I can see him adjusting to the new formula, dirty diaper starting to look normal and zero spit up. He's much calmer. I feel so bad for putting the little guy through 1-2 weeks of this nightmare. I kept reading you shouldn't change baby's formula so quickly...you should give it a month or two. Which I completely disagree, if we eat something that gives us a stomach ache...do we still keep eating that for another month or two everyday? No! We don't!

We switched with hope it would reduce fussiness and crying and get my baby on a regular bowel movement schedule. The Pro-advance would cause her distress so total comfort said guaranteed to work but didn't for my baby. Every baby is different so it could work great for yours but just not for ours. Made her terribly fussy, spit up way more and not have a bowl movement in a week. We either have to try Pro sensitive now or switch brands. Bad thing is I bought a whole new tub after the small sample can was gone cause you can't tell that quick and now have to throw the whole thing away.

At first we supplemented with pro advance but my son would projectile vomit after every bottle. The pediatrician gave us samples of this formula and my son stopped vomiting that day! It's so gentle on his belly. When you make the bottle, you can see it start dissolving as soon as it hits the water. I'm so glad that we found what works for him. It smells better and feels better than other ones we've tried.

Total comfort was the only one I could find to work for my daughter after trying many formulas. With the change to pro total, with no notice from anywhere, my daughter is back to being gassy and uncomfortable. We are back to middle of the night screaming all over again. Now I have to try and find the original just so we can get a night of sleep and she can feel comfortable. It's very foamy, so I wonder if that is causing the problem.

My little one was struggling with tummy issues. We tried sensitive, pro-sensitive, Enfamil gentlease and then finally total comfort. It was a game changer. He is so much more happier. And now they've come out with a pro-total comfort and I'm so happy! I've read about the new prebiotic because I was a little skeptical at first, but now I believe it is a must. Ingredients are the same besides one or two, so I didn't worry about switching over to it too much. Baby has been drinking and loving it. Would recommend over Gentlease because the proteins are broken down even more. Get this before you try soy!
