I find that it is a little rich for me so my son suggested I try Strawberry, which is what he drinks. I like it just fine. I would recommend Original Ensure for its taste. Have tried other Ensure but did not like them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently had knee replacement surgery for the 2nd time in 2 years. I knew I was going to need extra help with my dietary intake. I drank 1 ensure a day 1 month before surgery to make sure I was getting needed vitamins and nitrients to help me through surgery. After surgery when I was on a multiple regime of pain meds, I couldn’t eat, no appetite, lost 20 pounds in 2 weeks. So I started again drinking 1 ensure a day. It was such a great help! I felt better knowing I at least had something to help me. I am so grateful for Ensure! I will always return to drinking Ensure every time I feel I need an extra lift in my vitamin intake! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I drink Ensure original now twice daily. I use it for breakfast. The protein and minerals keep me satisfied until lunch time. If I do any physical work or sporting activity during the day I usually drink another bottle. This keeps me going until dinner. Instead of eating unhealthy snacks at night I may drink another bottle. It is very satisfying.

I struggle with active Crohn's disease and am unable to keep food in my system. Ensure gives me that boost that I need. It is one of my very essentials to get me through the day. I started with the Milk Chocolate, but enjoyed the Vanilla as well. The Milk Chocolate is delicious and always picks me up.

When I literally couldn’t eat anything - after a hospital stay and losing 20 lbs in 3 weeks - I remembered Vanilla Ensure. Not only did it still taste delicious, but it was the most nutritious, hydrating and easy thing to drink. Thank you again - I can’t recommend this enough!

It helped me between breakfast and dinner, not looking for something sweet or heavy during the day. this gave me the sweet taste and satisfied my wanting to eat before dinner.
