I'm a LONG time consumer of Ensure: Vanilla (Original) 8fl oz. About August 2019, the Best By Date is very difficult; if not impossible to READ. This information is VITAL to me as a consumer. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been drinking Ensure since I had most of my intestines removed in 1975 because of Crohn's Disease. Ensure was recommended by a nutritionist. I use it as a base for shakes, smoothies, hot drinks (mix with cocoa powder or grain beverage crystals (coffee substitute), and everywhere else I'd use milk. Drinking Ensure has literally "kept me going" during those times when I had difficulty eating. I'm now 79 years old, just got my PhD in botanical medicine, and my doctors call me their "miracle baby" because I've been able to do everything I want, including long distance running, despite my medical circumstances. I owe the fact that I can still maintain my weight to the 3 containers of Ensure that I drink every day.
