[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was first introduced to this product while doing research for something for my adult son who suffers from Multiple Sclerosis. I needed something that was full of nutrients being that a lot of time he did not feel much like eating breakfast. It was also a great substitute for an evening snack. I have used it with fruits and vegetables when making smoothies. He will readily drink these drinks rather than eat a meal. Ensure has 'ensured' that he is getting the right nutrition even when not eating.

I'm also aware that my Vitamin intake is being supplemented..especially on days that I forget to take my Vitamins. I also like the Ensure Original nutrition powder as it is not sweet or you can sweeten it with syrups.

I had tried many other protein drinks and was reluctant to try this product thinking it would taste like all the others. It helps keep his protein level up with the dialysis . It’s just very expensive. I would like to get him free ensure as he is 72 years old and doesn’t have enough money to drink this product as much as he should. He expresses that milk chocolate is his favorite ! Hopefully I can win this for him as it will help his protein levels to try and keep him healthy . Since he was diagnosed with kidney failure and is on dialysis 3 times a week.
