Presentation and packaging was beautiful! Excited to give it a go upon arrival! Used today for the first time on my legs, underarms, and bikini line. I used normal strength on legs and the gentle cycle on my underarms, and bikini line. Very easy to use! There was a slight warm feeling, but not uncomfortable . I also wore my sunglasses, as the pulseing light was bright. I may invest in darker protection sun glasses. Over all- quick and easy! Looking forward to seeing results!!

I love having the convenience of an IPL device for at-home use and to bring along during time away. It's exciting to have the means to achieve long-term to permanent hair removal at your convenience and comfort. I've had laser and IPL hair removal sessions at the spa and I know how time-consuming and costly these can be. This device is great as a means to touch up in between sessions at the spa or medical office or on its own. Depending on how many areas of your body you are seeking to treat, the cost of the device runs about half the cost of a package of 5 sessions for one verrry small area while this device can treat your entire body until you reach the results you desire. It takes patient and consistency to yield long-term to permanent results, but it's easy to hold and use, and in the convenience of your home you can use it while watching TV or during commerical breaks so it seems like a win-win. It's a great item to consider as a gift to yourself or to place on your wish list and add to your at-home beauty ritual. I can already see results in the few short weeks I've been using it and look forward to achieving even better results over time.

The package contained one Gillette Venus Razor, one hair removal device, and one power supply. I didn't experience any discomfort and have seen results right away. The light is a little warm against the skin, but it wasn't anything to be bothered by. You are able to get into the hard little areas with it. This a must for anyone wanting to get rid of hair.

So I tried it on underarms ,and very easy to use,no pain ,lightweight really like it Haven't done enough to see any significant results yet but am anxious to keep trying and see the outcome ! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the Venus Silk-expert for over a month now. I used in on my underarms. The directions were easy to follow. The pulsating light felt warm with a little sting every time I pressed the treatment button. I became used to it very quickly though. The light is a little bright so I would not recommend looking at it directly. I used it once a week and noticed a significant decrease in the number of hairs growing back under my arms. It's so easy to use and I'm so happy that I don't have to shave every other day anymore. I can't wait to try it on other parts of my body.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I have done 7 treatments. Each one takes about 15 minutes. I am treating my lower legs, lower arms and underarms. This is not painful- and is really just a small investment in my week. This week I didn't shave- or haven't shav d in 6 days- I took a picture of my right lower leg to show results. Honestly it is pretty astounding! In the picture you will see a stray hair every now and then. If I were to guess- I'd have to say my hair production has decreased by 80-90%!!!! And I'm not through the 12 week test phase! So Yes! I will continue and finish out the 12 week window. And Yes! This will be a new beauty routine to keep up with the amazing results. And Yes! I will be telling others about this fabulous product.

Would I say "amazing" results, no, but I would say willing to take the 12 week challenge like their research stated. I will say that I am a firm believer in the Venus disposable razor now though! That has held up at least 6 uses and still as good as the first time. Jury is still out but not turning back yet!

I'm newly engaged so I have been paying a lot more attention to my hands lately and so has everyone else. I have been extra paranoid about them looking hairy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got my free silk expert from Braun 3 weeks ago. It looks quite space aged! I read all the instructions and did a patch test. When I had no reaction I jumped right in to use it on my leafs, underarms and bikini area. The unit is really easy to use. If you use the unit for more than a few minutes it gets quite warm but not too hot to use. The only area I found I couldn't get the lights to illuminate so it was ready to use was in my knees and around my ankles. Other than that it's very simple and straight forward. I haven't noticed any difference yet with my hair growth, but the booklet says it can take a while. So I'm definitely going to keep using it as its so quick and easy to do.

My husband and I are both trying it out and here are our initial thoughts after using it once: 1) You should know before buying that it is not for use on the face 2) I find it a bit hard to know where I've already used so suspect that I've either repeated treatment on area's or missed huge area's. 3) While it doesn't require sunglasses, it is super bright so I'm wearing sunglasses. AND, we learned right away to NOT use it in a small area like the bathroom and definitely not in front of a mirror! A larger space not directly in front of a mirror is much more ideal. We've only used it once so not sure about results yet but I'm definitely looking forward to seeing how it works. My face is much more of a problem area for me so I will definitely be purchasing the face approved device if we find this works!
