I thought it would be super annoying and have to charge but I opened it and plugged it in and it was ready to go! I started on my underarms to try a smaller area. It was super easy and comfortable to use and I felt like it got the smaller harder to reach area under my arm. The only thing was it was a little bright for me, I have light eyes so they are kind of sensitive so I can wear sunglasses to help with that. I am super excited to see the results over time and can't wait to do my next treatment!

I've been a huge fan of the Venus since my teen years, but this was my first time using an IPL product and wasn't sure what to expect. Product claims & Benefits: 1. Permanent visible hair removal. 2. I haven't yet been using the product long enough to see the long-term results myself. 2. The product seems safe and there are settings to tweek to make the product fit your individual needs. 3. This is a nice alternative to having to make an appointment for hair removal. 4. These treatments are definitely quicker than professional appointments. 5. I didn't experience any discomfort. The light seems a bit warm against the skin, but it didn't bother me. I should point out that I do not have sensitive skin though. 6. It's definitely convenient! My initial feedback is that this is definitely something I'd like to try for a few months to determine long term effects.

The hair growth is very light and I don't feel the need to shave them every time I jump in the shower. I still have no pain from the process and the more I handle the device the easier it is to use. I'm really liking it!!!

The packaging is great. It comes with a cute little Venus razor to shave the areas you want to treat. It's very easy to assemble, just plug the power outlet together and into The laser and you're good to go. It doesn't work on tan or dark skin, and only works on lighter skin with dark hair so if you have dark skin or light hair, this product would be a waste of money for you. It has a little skin tone and body hair type chart in the instructions booklet so you can compare your skin and hair to it. It also has a built in skin tone sensor that will determine the power of the laser. If your skin is too dark the sensor will turn red and you cannot use the laser on your skin, which I think is a very smart built in safety feature. If you ever went to a salon and paid hundred of dollars to get laser hair removal it basically feels the same as a professional machine, but only smaller. It doesn't hurt at all, just feels like a slight pinching feeling. It's also very easy to use, you place the treatment window directly on the skin, wait for the skin sensor to turn white then press the top button. I used it on my underarms and forearms. So far I love this product. I can't wait to see the results!! I'm hoping to see great results with this laser hair removal system!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this free from Braun to test and give my unbiased opinion. I have been using this weekly for about 8 weeks and have to say I am impressed. It's easy to use, just slowly glide it over your body. For more difficult areas like your knees, you can use precision mode. I do notice a small feeling of heat when it pulses, and in some areas the feeling of being lightly flicked, like by a rubber band. Otherwise it doesn't really hurt and isn't very uncomfortable. It doesn't take long either! I have been using it on my legs and have noticed a dramatic decrease in hair, which is awesome! I have pale skin and dark hair which is very noticeable, even a few hours after shaving. Now I don't get that odd 5 o'clock shadow on my legs and they stay smoother much longer. My hair and skin color are pretty much the ideal combination for something like this, and I definitely recommend it to anyone whose coloring is similar!

I am not overly hairy but I have more than I'd like to have and always been very self-conscious. Now that Braun has given me the opportunity to try their product free, I cannot wait to get started! With the unboxing I thought that it was very nice. It looked expensive, well made...not too heavy and not too light. Wasn't sure what to expect when I used it the first time. It wasn't that bad. A tiny shock feeling but mostly warm. Occasionally I would hit a spot that must have been a little more sensitive but it wasn't terrible. After using, i didn't have any skin irritation, just felt like a very mild sunburn. It was very easy to use. As far as moving it around your area, you just have to find the way that works best for you. It is still early in the process but I can't wait to see the results! Yay!!

I had not hear of this product prior to receiving it in the mail but was so excited just opening the box and seeing how pretty it is. For anyone thinking about getting this product know that it's not an immediate fix to any hair growth and that it does take time. The instructions do say that it will take about 12 weeks of treatment and then monthly follow up. It's super simple to use and painless. It feels like I have a real spa service in my home.

Every time that I use it, it is easier and faster than the last. Very simple to use machine and no real pain at all. You do smell some "burnt hair" smell but it's worth it! I have already noticed a HUGE decrease in the amount of hair on the test spots. Nice and smooth without the trouble of razors! The device itself is very chic and fits perfectly into my hand without being heavy or awkward. Will definitely recommend this to family and friends.

I think it would work well for someone that has hair that isn't corse and light skin. My hair is thinning a bit though so I will be continuing to use this product to see if I have more of a result. By the way, you do have to have a clean shave on the area BEFORE you use this product. I received this product free from Braun to use.
