It definitely worked, but was very sick for days. 7 hours in violently started with stomach cramps and sweating. I had vomiting, chills, sweating, stomach cramps worse than my ibs. It continued 24 hours still same symptoms just slightly less cramping. Would never take again every, it was way to violent on my body.

I recommend that you take it on a day when you are not going to leave the house, because the effect lasts for a long time. I felt relieved, deflated and lighter when I took it and during For the effect, I drank a lot of water and it cleaned me very well.

Not sure this stuff works. Started taking the Gell Cap version of the Stool Softener 36 hour before hernia surgery since anesthesia is reported to cause constipation. My first 3 bowel movements seemed awful rough. I will never know if it could have been worse I guess, but no stool even close to what anyone would call soft. I would try a different product next time.

This is a night laxative that stimulates defecation, speeds up the passage of stool and facilitates evacuation within 6-12 hours. I especially use the children's toffee, it really helps. But I do not recommend drinking it on a regular basis!

I've been very constipated and normally I use polyethylene glycol, so I didn't think that there would be much difference. While visiting my family, Ducolax was all that was available, so I tried it. I'm so miserable now from the abdominal cramping that I "ran" to review and warn others. Hopefully this doesn't happen to everyone. This is miserable.

I will give this 0 stars because it caused me horrible stabbing pain, dizziness, aching discomfort. I almost called 911. This went on from 12 noon until midnight. Today I feel exhausted. I took 2 pills. But I doubt one would have been much better. I threw the rest in the garbage.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think these overnight laxatives are pretty neat because you can take them overnight and they work and you’re not rushing to the bathroom. They are a soft formula so they are not hard on the body and they go to work during the night.
