I typical use a generic option with the same active ingredient so I was interested to see how the big name brand would compare. The verdict: not well. This took 3 “servings” and many hours before the desired result. In the interim it caused quite a bit of abdominal discomfort and gassiness. 2 stars because the product does work but in my opinion the generic brand works better at a significantly better price.

Dulcolax Laxative Tablets are small, comfort-coated and easy to swallow. Bisacodyl is the active ingredient. I take one tablet at bedtime (only when needed) and experience relief the next morning, with no cramping. I bought this product yesterday and took two last night. I woke 4. Hours later to severe cramps and sweating. I made it to the rest room, to my surprise it also caused me to vomit. For two hours this went on. I wouldn't think the word "gentle" should be allowed on this label!

Dont take too much of these, they will cause shaking, nausea, cold sweats, and bad cramps. These things are rly strong. I used to be addicted because I kept wanting to lose weight. But i learned it the hard way, I took 3 and it made me feel horrific, I wanted to faint but I held back. Got out of the bathroom, went straight to a bed and laid down for 30min.

It’s a small pill and does its job without any pain or uncomfortable symptoms. Overall I think it’s a great solution to a painful problem.
