I have used Dulcolax for many years and these overnight stimulants work great. We all have those times where we get backed up and need a little help and this medicine does just that. It does take around 12 hours for the medication to finally work, but it does really help regulate your system. I do not recommend taking this often because it is a stimulant but when needed it works. 

this product says "comfortable overnight relief." This was NOT my experience. Five hours of cramps and stomach pain so intense, it caused vomiting, shaking, chills, sweating, and crying. On a scale of one to ten, I would rate the pain a strong ten (I have a high pain tolerance, too). Please do not take this review lightly. If you experience anything like I did, you will regret your decision immediately, and spend hours upon hours on the toilet in complete agony. I have taken many OTC laxatives before and thought I would give this one a try. Never in my life have I had an experience like this.

I took 2 tablets before bedtime, I woke up after a few hours with the worst stomach cramps and feeling nauseated. Cramps continued until morning with very little bowl movement. My stomach stayed bloated, cramping all day. After reading many other independent reviews on the web this seems to be consistent with other people's experiences. I threw the rest on the trash. Never again.
