It did take approximately 12 hours before it kicked in. It comes in a small package and is very easy to swallow. Its worth it to take one when you are having trouble in the bathroom.

Had a tonsilectomy on 19th. Meds I'm on (codeine) makes you suffer with constipation. So I haven't passed anything in over 8 days. I've tried fibre pills...coffee (normally makes me poo). I don't know why they say overnight because I took it at around 10 pm and it started working at around 6am. So if you want it to work at night take it 8-12 hours before bed. Very effective.
