I made cookies with this "brown sugar" and I swear to you I taste sweetner (something artificial). I also got a headache from eating about 3 cookies. I get this classic headache after eating anything with aspartame in it, which is why I don't eat any products with aspartame in them. I will be taking this back to the store.

I prefer the brand that they carried before because that was real brown sugar. This sugar is coated to look like brown sugar because in every bag that I’ve used there were white sugar clumped with brown sugar. The clumps doesn’t dissolve easily either.

If I wanted molasses, I would have purchased molasses. Memeber's Mark Light Brown Sugar ingredients: cane sugar, cane molasses. C&H Golden Brown Sugar ingredients: brown sugar. I purchased this cheerfully the first time I needed it after they switched from C&H. I was immediately disappointed when I opened the bag, it was obvious that this was sugar colored with molasses before I even read the ingredients list. It makes a huge difference in taste, texture, quality, everything. I used to be confident in every Sam's Club store label item they carried. Not anymore. I now purchase my brown sugar at the main comptetion.

NOT REAL BROWN SUGAR! NOT REAL BROWN SUGAR! This is granulated white sugar with molasses added to it. Please read the label and look at the sugar compared to C&H Brown Sugar. You can see the difference. And most important, it does not cook the same as real brown sugar. My cookies were failures until I realized this and switched back to the real brown sugar purchased at another store. (C&H ingredients are: Brown Sugar). Please bring back C&H Brown Sugar or another brand that is really real Brown Sugar!

I bought this not realizing it wasn’t C&H. Went to cook with it still not realizing it wasn’t C&H. The smell was weird so I tasted it. Yuck molasses taste! I looked at the bag, low and behold it wasn’t C&H. I will not be buying this for my business it was terrible. Sams Club you are loosing more and more of my business with your substandard products.

I have a container that I have used for a few years to keep my brown sugar in and have always gotten the C&H or store brands (including the Walmart brand) and they have always kept for long periods of time without getting hard (I use the trick of putting a piece of bread in with it) so when I saw this 5 lb bag at Sam's Club I was happy to buy but after keeping it in the same container and in the same way that I have always kept brown sugar in THIS brand turned rock hard, completely solid in the bottom of the container and I had to fill the container with water, wasting all the brown sugar that was in it. Very disappointed in this brand and will go back to buying the brands I used before :(

I bake a lot and buying this large bag of brown sugar is economical. It's a great product.

Junk soft mess. Like the. Nuts were not enrobed with properly coked candy.

Bought one and it was fine. Ordered again and got something that had large crystals, like sanding sugar, so not at all like brown sugar in texture.
