Great value for baking

Happy that Sam's is still carrying cane sugars. Beet sugar is just not that good IMHO. If your sugar doesn't say it's cane sugar, then it's the much more inferior beet sugar.

Usually the brown sugar is fine but in a recent purchase, every bag seemed hard. I chose the one that was least hard, but now it is very hard and almost impossible to use, as I am towards the end of the bag.

The best. Normally, I buy brand names but saw good reviews about this. It is so good, y'all! Great molasses flavor, which really adds an extra dimension to your baked goods.

The sugar granules are large and very hard. It want melt. I used to love this brand in past years. I don't know what happened. But it's like crunching on sweet dirt in my baked goods.

I take spurts where I bake a lot of cookies. When I purchase this I fill up 2 quart jars then I vacuum seal the rest. When I open up the vacuum seal bag of brown sugars its fresh and not dried out!!!

Nice price and recently found out that it can be stored in the freezer, so I am okay with having to only purchase a two pack. Even use it for recipes that call for dark brown sugar, works great.

This brown sugar is dry and very grainy. Although it strongly smells like molasses, it does not pack well or dissolve well in recipes. After baking you can still feel the granules crunch in your baked goods. Will not buy again.

What’s not to like about MM brown sugar? It is every bit as good as the national brand and such a great value! Anyone who does a considerable amount of baking will definitely make this product a pantry staple. Soft, rich molasses flavor, and again, outstanding value per pound! I am never without my MM brown sugar!
