Plenty of free channels even without cable access. It took a long time to add my Channels. Allow an hour to two hours. You can always add as you go. Recommendations: do not set up a password prior to adding channels. If wanting truly free channels read the descriptiom details. Some have charge content. Then set up password to ensure no one buys movies and charges to your credit card. Yes, you have to load a C/C.

I bought two Roku Model 3810 Streaming Sticks (as replacements for older models) and had them installed by a cable professional rather than myself. Initially both worked well, however one stopped working the same day of installation. The same professional returned today, confirmed that the stick was not functioning as designed, inserted new batteries and paired it again. At the moment all seems normal. Fingers crossed!

Ordered this on Sunday and had it installed and working on Tuesday. It was easy to install - and there are very helpful Youtube videos if you need them. The remote has more features than my ROKU2 remote, including voice commands, volume control and power button for the TV. I used to have to make sure the remote was pointed directly at the ROKU device - not necessary with the Streaming Stick+ - I love it!

I bought a tv that claimed to be smart, but its not,it has a horrible interface, and a clumsy remote, it also has a walled garden for apps and a limited selection that doesn't include amazon, prompting my Roku purchase. Nice! Great picture, handles all the steaming services and you don't have to point the remote at the tv, also the remote is simple and the interface is fast and easy to navigate. Only con is that the voice controls should be able to fill out search bars because the typing is tedious.

This is my second Roku streaming stick, the products are easy to install with help from utube The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was because when I called support (twice for installation help) I was connected to an out of country geek squad type service that said I had an "infection" in my computer and would have to buy a service contract for them to help!

I bought it for an extra tv that I didn't want to install shelves under to hold other devices. I have 2 roku 4's. Wish I had sticks to replace them. I really like that I can control everything on the TV with the roku remote. It has long range control that worked across the hall from the TV.

cons no port for a head set........viewing content and selection of tv and movies is too complicated. It will be a while before I'm used to formats. Pro...the review of selections in motion is great!!!!!!I originally got hooked with a bogus ROKU site and they wanted to charge 99.00 to connect. Beware..always go to ROku official site

I have been very happy since purchasing this device. It has provided many apps/options to watch tv/movies. I didn't realize how many apps there are out there to download and stream old tv shows and cartoons. The only one problem I have been having now and then is w/ the remote. Sometimes it acts like the connectivity has frozen. I'm not able to change apps or use the home and go back options, but I can still adjust the volume. I usually have to wait five mins or so before it kicks in when this happens. Other than that I have had no issues what so ever w/ my device and streaming tv/movies.

Bought a new ROKU Stick and was very happy with the so easy setup! I am not the sharpest tool in the shed and it was easy for me! Love the access to Netflix/Hulu...and all the other channel.options...saying goodbye to Cable & Direct Tv! Very Happy, Highly recommend!

I bought this for my daughter's room. I also purchased an amazon fire stick for my garage apartment. By for the Roku is so much better. It is far easier to set up. No credit card needed to use. You were able to pick the channels you wanted. Very easy. I wanted to throw the fire stick away. It was also very easy to set the remote to work the TV.
