I bought this Roku to replaced and older Roku (3+ years old) which was not streaming well, had to be rebooted often, etc. The difference is amazing. The new one is in the same location as the old one but performs 200% better. no more pixelated movies, no more having to reboot it. I bought this model because Roku claimed it had the best Wi-Fi performance and the Wi-Fi performance is awesome. I have not used any of the other features like voice control so I cannot comment on those. Compared to my old one, they also fix a lot of the issues with the remote control. Definitely deserves five stars.

I purchase this stick to see if becoming a cable cutter was in my future. The next time my bill goes up or just anything changes for the worse I'm cutting the cable, litteraly. This stick is so easy to use and actually the picture quality is better. Thank you Roku!

I purchased a Roku 3 in 2010, and used it for hours every day. Through three moves, and plenty of knocking about, it finally gave up the ghost. I immediately ordered the Roku Streaming Stick +, and I love it. It doesn't take up any room on the table, because it all fits on the back of my TV. It streams amazingly fast, and the ability to use the remote for the TV volume and power, makes it even better.

We bought a new tv so I figured I would upgrade my roku3 with a roku streaming stick so I wouldn't have to deal with the wires. The streaming stick seems to have a lot of lag time and freezes up sometimes and always has to restart when first turning on the tv. I never had that problem with my older roku (which I did have on the new tv for awhile and it worked perfectly). I am not sure if it's because it is plugged into the tv usb port or what. So I will be taking it back and exchange it for the roku express hd, and see how that works. If that doesn't work I will just go back to my old roku because it is the best streaming device I have used.

I've been a Roku user for several years now. I have Roku 3 in the bedroom and just got Roku Streaming Stick+ for the living room -- even though it's a smart 4k TV. The RokuSS+ has so many improvements -- like being able to control all my TV needs with the remote, including on/off, sound, voice control, and a 4K pic on those shows that use 4K technology. Roku's tend to be easier to use than some smart TVs. It's the ease of setup and use that is so great - and it's less than half the cost of some other streaming devices!

Have been wanting a streaming device for awhile as I plan to ditch cable. After extensive searching for a streaming device the Roku Streaming Stick+ was chosen. One of the selling points was it's compatibility with 4K. The device was easy to set up, is user friendly and the content selection vast. Very pleased with the purchase.

I bought this for our spare room's TV so that I could access exercise videos on YouTube. The picture quality is very nice and the speed at which it accesses programs is better than the old model I have in our main living room. I plan to purchase this streaming stick for that room as well.

Loved my original Roku. However, as age and infirmity crept in, looking for voice assist so as to not have to type. Only reason I moved up; so so easy to install. Downside having to enter account name/password again, but I used my tablet to make that process easier. All in all, it is a YES!

I am in the process of writing two books - one on automating your home and the other on being your own cord cutter. While I had used Roku's in the past, I hadn't been particularly impressed with what I had found. That changed with this Roku. I was very concerned about how well it would work over wireless. I upgraded to a 802.11ac wireless access point just before I tried out the Streaming Stick+. This certainly is cheaper than running a network cable from one end of the house to the other.

I had the stream stick plus up and running in minutes. With the Spectrum app, I no longer have to pay the ridiculous rental fee on a cable box. Pays for itself? Also I can hook up Vudu and Netflix and any other streaming services I want. It's so easy to use that my 86 year old mother can use it without help. That's a very big deal to me.
