Now that I finally have the stick installed it is amazing. The installation process was very frustrating because I am over 60 and the instructions seemed easy but I had to keep redoing things and it took me days to figure it out. I found customer support - totally on line - completely unhelpful. HOWEVER - not that the dang thing is installed - I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!! I am sure I will forget my original frustration as I continue to enjoy my device.

I am upgrading from a 2015 device. This thing is much smaller and it has no issues connecting to 5 GHz WiFi and it has no issues keeping up with FHD video streams. I haven't tried UHD streaming, but it doesn't appear that there will be any challenges. I loved how during setup it determined the TV and the volume and power immediately synchronized with the TV. That makes is really easy.

Not a family friendly device. No parental controls. A pin is not sufficient. It only requires the pin to be entered when adding a new channel. Not when selecting an individual movie or show. I do not want my children seeing ALL title images. Really wish there was a way to block certain ads/promotions and ratings. Very disappointing. Wish the creators would have put more effort or consideration into the design for parental controls.

I love that I am able to control the TV on/off and volume from the Roku remote. The picture is very clear and it allows me to select "who's watching" on several of the channels. I have had Roku 1, 2, 3 and now Streaming Stick+. The only feature this one doesn't have that I like on the others is a headphone jack.

We have been using Roku streaming devices for years and they keep getting better all the time. This new streaming stick+ is the best one yet. Super easy to set up, basically just plug and play. The feature list is amazing. If you're thinking about buying your first Roku stick or upgrading from an older model think no further and just buy this one. You will love it!

This is my 3rd Roku Stick and it is the best option available. I use on a smart tv and have the internet access to the smart tv turned off because the Roku is much faster than what is built in to the tv. Also the number of apps available for Roku is much better than the smart tv.

This is my second Roku--first stick...it is fabulous! So easy to install, and it also has on off and volume control which is great as I do not have to switch between remotes. I also love Roku's new channel. It is a great value for all the wonderful channels you can get. And, you can take it with you when you travel! How clever is that. I am purchasing several as gifts this season.

I had the Roku 2 XD for the longest time. I didn't feel the need to upgrade even with the unexplained reboots until the remote died on me. I'm glad I did though. Not having to find the sweet spot just to get the remote to register my actions is nice. The remote also controls the volume and power of my TV (so that aiming is still required) but at least I don't need to fish for a separate remote. I like the dedicated buttons for the channels although I would like to be able to change out or disable the ones I don't use at all. Haven't quite figured out the voice button though I'm sure I just need to read something. Internet connect seems solid and it unit has yet to reboot on its own. Private listening is a cool feature but I have yet to make full use of that. All in all, it's a great reason to upgrade if you have an older device.

I bought this about a month ago after seeing the reviews and such I decided I wanted to try it and see the difference between the competition and the Roku. I have to say I love the Roku hands down over the competition. Much easier to set up and start using. I think it took me all of 2 minutes from package to use. There are a few features that would make this one awesome alternative to cable and or satellite...mute feature, a light that allows these old eyes to see the remote, channel up channel down feature. If you subscribe to any of the paid services..THIS IS A MUST!

I upgraded from the Streaming Stick 3500X and LOVE my new Roku Streaming Stick+ it has so many great new features. I like how I only have to use one remote to operate the tv itself and my Roku, along with having the ability to do voice control. It's worth the price!
