This is the 4th Roku product I've purchased and I have been pleased with all of them. Set up is easier now than with first ones. Navigating the menus has also been a piece of cake. All four of my Roku's are working as advertised. The first one is 4 years old and still performing well.

I bought this Roku Streaming Stick and it is way better than the original Roku. I don't have to have my TV control to Turn on/off my TV nor raise or lower the volume as well. It is perfect as is, however, one of the things I didn't like from the original Roku is that the battery's burned out quickly and had to change them for more. I don't know if this Roku Streaming Stick is more efficient extending the life of the batteries. If not, I suggest you upgrade it to having a charger port you can place by your bedside table/nightstand.

More options than I thought. Simple set up. This unit controls my Sharp TV and my Onkyo sound system without needing to punch in a bunch of codes. We just ordered our second one. Cutting the cord with Directv as soon as the second Roku stick gets here.

I originally bought a Roku Ultra and still use it in my home. It is very nice as well. I have some other TV's in the home that I wanted to get connected so I am currently using my Roku Streaming Stick+ between two TV's that are pretty far from each other in my home and also both are the furthest TV's in the home from my router. It works great and plan on switching it between the two TV's until I buy a 40" Roku TV in the next month or so to upgrade one of my current TV's. Sure i'll be please with that purchase as well.

I asked my boyfriend to buy me a Roku for Christmas. He bought me the streaming stick. I love, love, love it. I don't have cable in my bedroom, just in the living room, but with the stick i was able to download the Spectrum app (my cable provider), and log into the app, and watch the same live tv as i can in the living room. So, just for that service alone, the Roku pays for itself, being as i don't have to pay the cable company to add cable to my bedroom. There are a ton of other apps as well. I love my streaming stick!

I bought this Roku because the smart TV that I had did not have that many great apps aside from Netflix, and Youtube. I needed something that would allow me to stream those apps, plus apps like HBO Now and Hulu. It gave me all of that and more. The 4K content is decent too. The only thing I don't like is being forced to put my credit card information in just to make an account. I like to be able to put that info in ONLY when I need to. Other than that it's great and it's the best money I've spent this year.

We bought a new tv so I figured I would upgrade my roku3 with a roku streaming stick so I wouldn't have to deal with the wires. The streaming stick seems to have a lot of lag time and freezes up sometimes and always has to restart when first turning on the tv. I never had that problem with my older roku (which I did have on the new tv for awhile and it worked perfectly). I am not sure if it's because it is plugged into the tv usb port or what. So I will be taking it back and exchange it for the roku express hd, and see how that works. If that doesn't work I will just go back to my old roku because it is the best streaming device I have used.

This is my first streaming stick and I love it. I have 2 others Roku devices but they are the small box type and the stick is out of sight which I like. Super easy to get up and running. We have completely dumped the cable / satellite companies and are saving a ton of money.

Got this for Christmas to replace my old Roku I'd had for 6 years. It will only play for about 4 minutes before it starts reloading/ buffering. So annoying. I ordered an hdmi extender to see if that helped, if not I'm returning it. No issues with my old one for almost 6 years (it wasn't the stick version).

Got this as a 4k option to my Roku 3. Set it up and watched for 30 minutes and it got super hot. Changed HDMI ports and power sources and would still get super hot. Returned it. Probably had a defective one cuz I've had my Roku 3 for over 3 years with no problems.
