This is the 4th Roku product I've purchased and I have been pleased with all of them. Set up is easier now than with first ones. Navigating the menus has also been a piece of cake. All four of my Roku's are working as advertised. The first one is 4 years old and still performing well.

this makes my 3rd roku device, (replaces 2nd gen HD; also have a 2xs) and i already want to replace the other older model. the stick+ is a HUGE step up in speed and capability; buffering is minimal to nonexistent, and the tv controls are a stroke of genius. wish i'd upgraded sooner, but glad i held out as i got it as a gift (at black friday pricing). win/win. roku's interface is the best around, and consistently the devices i recommend for cord cutters and new streamers; if you aren't invested in any other ecosystem, roku is the device to have. your parents can use it; heck, your grandparents can use it (the father-in-law loves his!).

Wanted to replace a Chromecast I had for years, so friends told me that Roku was the best streaming option to go with. They were right! Connected to my 5G network instantly, perfect quality and all the apps make this a perfect streaming device. Will have one for each room soon!

Old Roku started to die after 5/yrs. Had to unplug every 3 or 4 days as it wouldnt load complete. Ordered the Stick + (Mdl 3810), with on/off, volume controls. No wires as stick is hidden & powers from TV USB.. Most Excellent !!! Not very tech savvy. Was easy to set up, everything auto populated, hardest thing was typing in my long WiFi password. LOL Love it.... So Much better then older one... Fast, excellent picture also!!

Wanted a TV in kitchen eating area. No network connection near by so the wifi with the stick is fabulous. Supports 2 and 5 ghz so i could pick the 5ghz band which is best for streaming data. Since the TV has a powered usb port right by the HDMI it was truly plug and play. easy step by step setup. only had for 3 days but zero issues so far. The TV power and volume buttons being on the remote are wonderful. One remote controls it all now.

I have this on every TV in the house. The remote is great because it will turn on/off the TV and adjust the volume so you don't need to use any other remote. I have Spectrum Cable and the app for the Roku works great. I don't need a cable box for the TVs.

In terms of streaming player, the Roku is hands down the best available. This is the fourth Roku I've owned and each one differerent from the last. Pros: For this model over previous model; snappier interface, crisper picture, quickly loading OS, initial setup is super quick and easy, voice search, and TV-controllable power button and volume controls on the remote are a HUGE win for this model over all the other models I've owned. Cons: The only con, and this is a personal pet peeve of mine, is the physical sound of the remote when you hit the buttons, its very loud and clicky, almost cheap sounding. It's very annoying. The cheaper older model roku stick, IMHO, had the quietest most comfortable Roku remote to date and I am sad to let that one go, so this is a step down for me, but this is not a total deal breaker. Other then that, this one is perfect.

Great product. My kids love it and we use it everyday. The only issue is that you will have to subscribe for each channel before you can start watching. So there is extra money that you're gonna pay as most of the content is not free. We use it mainly for Youtube, Netflix and Ruko tv

I had the Amazon Fire TV box. It was slower than the Roku. The Roku remote also turns the TV on and off and has volume control. Amazon does not. The biggest reason I went with the Roku was because Amazon was no longer going to support Youtube. There is no downside with the Roku but Several with Chromecast and Amazon. Chrome Cast = NO Remote - Amazon = NO Youtube .

I've got 2 Roku - Sharp TVs and have always loved everything they are able to do. So when a TV I was given needed an input means without cable I didn't hesitate to get a Roku Streaming Stick + for it. But,........ I was very disappointed when I couldn't use the system for several days because you didn't include an HDMI Extender in the package. With the TV HDMI configuration I couldn't insert the stick into the port, I imagine this is not a rare occurrence. It baffles me that you paid for express shipment of this unit rather than just including it in the kit, it must only cost pennies to make.
