I bought the Streaming Stick+ looking forward to whatever was newly developed. The product is good though the special Chanel access buttons should be programmable, eg I don't use Vudu or Sling. The transition from the old remote to the new one requires a ridiculous amount of time entering email accounts and passwords on an outdated keyboard system. Should be an automatic upgrade of ones account.

I've had it for about a year now and have never had any issues with it until recently & by the looks of other reviews I'm not the only one that's experienced this issue not sure what's happening. I will be purchasing another type cause I overall do like the Roku.

This device is so good at picking up a weak signal. I have had problems with other devices, but this one if flawless so far. Also with a previous Roku device, I experience difficulty and contact Roku. They not only resolved the problem in a very timely fashion, but called a few days later to ensure that the problem was fully resolved and to see if I needed further assistance. This service is "awesome" especially when compared to other tech companies.

A friend recommended this model highly and so we decided to try it. We had a Roku 2 from waaaaay back! This one is so much better. Much quicker to load and more choices. Thanks very much. Used to use a sony device..had a problem with freeze ups..none so far with my roku..also went house sitting out of town and took my stick along..didn't have to mess with all their gadgets and remotes..easy peasy!!!! Plus I didn't have to reset anything.

We bought a new tv so I figured I would upgrade my roku3 with a roku streaming stick so I wouldn't have to deal with the wires. The streaming stick seems to have a lot of lag time and freezes up sometimes and always has to restart when first turning on the tv. I never had that problem with my older roku (which I did have on the new tv for awhile and it worked perfectly). I am not sure if it's because it is plugged into the tv usb port or what. So I will be taking it back and exchange it for the roku express hd, and see how that works. If that doesn't work I will just go back to my old roku because it is the best streaming device I have used.

Got this as a 4k option to my Roku 3. Set it up and watched for 30 minutes and it got super hot. Changed HDMI ports and power sources and would still get super hot. Returned it. Probably had a defective one cuz I've had my Roku 3 for over 3 years with no problems.

Great product. My kids love it and we use it everyday. The only issue is that you will have to subscribe for each channel before you can start watching. So there is extra money that you're gonna pay as most of the content is not free. We use it mainly for Youtube, Netflix and Ruko tv

I had the Amazon Fire TV box. It was slower than the Roku. The Roku remote also turns the TV on and off and has volume control. Amazon does not. The biggest reason I went with the Roku was because Amazon was no longer going to support Youtube. There is no downside with the Roku but Several with Chromecast and Amazon. Chrome Cast = NO Remote - Amazon = NO Youtube .

I purchased a this new Roku to set up with a new television in bedroom. It is working so much better. The HD picture is spectacular and the convenience of the included television control makes it one of the most dynamic remotes. There is no more buffering over and over and the loading of the app is faster. I need to replace my older two Rokus.
