I bought the base model a couple of years ago. Since I cut the cable, putting the old one in the bedroom and bought the streaming Plus for the living room. Since I now have the option for 4K, I really like the performance in the features. Roku makes a great product.

I've had this less than a week. My bedroom on the wall TV would no longer work without a Spectrum cable box and there was no place to put it. Now it works with this little stick and I am so happy. I also don't have to pay for a box each month. I 'm still learning all the features. Thanks ROKU.

This stick device works very well. Only problem I've had is that I am on my third stick. The laser quit working on the first two. One lasted a little over a year and the second about 5 months. I have to wonder about quality of the stick construction. So, get one if you are not concerned that you may have to buy a replacement every now and then.

I got two trying to cut the cord....was using first one on YouTube TV and worked great but went to Direct TV Now and got the second one for my Samsung TV that didn't have the app...I found that on you tube TV no real buffering issue but direct TV now it does....I got an ultra box and for some reason the Stick plus on second TV didn't buffer as much after....the ultra box hardly any if none for buffering......I had ordered the free power adapter from Roku so perhaps since it is powered up all the time it was buffering but it did it before too...but now with one Ultra box and the stick + it isnt as much....

My son told us about it, we bought one right away.I loved it but my husband didn't take interest. Now he is totally hooked and we are getting ready to get another. You can watch what you want to watch when you want to, however, in that case you will have to pay. But YouTube is always there, that's one of my favorites.

I am so glad I made the decision to buy this because I get to watch so many shows different apps and movies I listen to music when getting ready this is the coolest future that you could just connect to your television and turn it into a smart TV it is the best purchase I've made in a long time

Bought it for Spectrum cable app for Sony flatscreen tv. Cable installer said it's 50/50 if you will like the app. Streaming stick Plus was my choice because you don't have to use two controllers to turn on tv. Roku controller on setup learns your tv code. Works well and have already recommended to others.

The commercials are problematic, they interject into the show im watching and do not play through. They come on for a few seconds then shut off. The screen goes black, then the same commercial comes back on only to show the same portion of it as before but going a few seconds further. The commercial takes 5x the time to show as it would if it played straight through. Any feedback about this issue, too much time is spent waiting to get back to the feature show???

The set up is very straightforward and easy. The menu is intuitive and lets the user access all the applications necessary. I use it to stream my provider of choice and it works very well. No issues with speed. The remote works well, wish it had more features.

Overall I like it very much - but the only reason I bought it was that the old quit working. However this one will NOT allow us to add the Hallmark channel... Since I cannot reach a real person at neither Hallmark nor Roku - I am at a standstill?? Can someone help without sending me to online FAQ's ? Very frustrating!
