Love the features and YouTubeTV has stopped buffering. Hate that Rokus go obsolete so fast. Have to buy a new device frequently for some streaming services as updates don't seem to keep pace. The new streaming stick + has nice features, but it's so long compared to the previous one, that it cannot be used on many TVs. People cannot buy all new streaming devices and TVs every year. I wish developers of devices amd services would better address this. I'm retired, on a fixed income. TV is about my only escape. Looks like that will be taken from me soon as well.

Bought because of size and external antenna. Works great but do not like when they take away zoom and fit to screen features from display setting. My previous version will fit to my screen regardless of display type. I loved that feature because I have 75 inch TV and I do not want to see the picture in half of the screen. Can Roku help to address it? Otherwise this is a great product.

I purchased this particular unit over other streaming units primarily because of the ability to control the TV's power and volume with the remote. That feature was nice and surprisingly easy to setup. The next reason I went with the Roku is because of both the other major options are to busy fighting over each other's services that thier devices don't meet my needs. The device itself works great and is much better and faster than the Panasonic smart TV app I have. The apps on the Roku are always up today which really lowers the frustration level when using them. The device does have some minor downfalls, the keyboard with the phone app doesn't always sync correctly with the device so you have to keep an eye out for what you are typing (although it's better than the on screen keyboard option.). The device appears to require more power (USB) right at startup than my TV can provide so I had to plug it into the wall, which is hard to always remember to stop what you are watching when you turn off the TV. This is a case where it would be nice if the device was smart enough to know when you press the power button you want the video to stop also.

We dropped Uverse and needed a streaming device. Purchased a Roku 3 and have been very happy with it. Decided I needed something for the bedroom so I could stream on my tv. Purchased the handy Roku stick and it has been great! Minimal setup time, easy to navigate and really enjoying all the channels I can stream for free. Best decision we ever made cutting that cord. Roku has been a great device for us and I would highly recommend it.

I absolutely love this i bought a roku tcl 32inch a year ago that shot craps so i was hesitant. Got it home hooked up signed in and i am so happy it put all my channels back and add two more with in minutes. It also has voice command so just made everything so much easier my kids can say what they want to watch and it starts it. Love love love

I've used an Apple TV 4, fire stick and the tried the Roku Stick+. The roku interface is simple and intuitive. The remote replaces the TV remote for power on/off and volume control. Unlike the Apple remote, there no accidently changing of channels. You also get amazon prime which Apple seems to be rolling out sometime, maybe? I wish The Roku would have been available when I signed up for Directtv Now. It would have saved me much frustration with Apple TV 4 and the very buggy fire stick. I have fast internet net and while the Apple TV is a solid streaming device, the absence of A prime and the sensitive touch remote makes the roku my streamer of choice. I also have a roku tv, the interface is superior to regular TV's. Wish Samsung, Sony or LG would adopt the Roku OS! Try it and you'll understand why the have over 50 % of the streaming market.

well, i have to admit I was skeptical about the product. We all know how this goes, promise the moon settle for.. well, it works. The stick is not in that genre at all. It lives up to all the pomp.. it is incredibly easy to set up and get running. Not only that but it really does run faster. I have first and second generation Roku boxes, love them. however, they will be replaced now. I highly recommend this product to new or existing Roku buyers. Great product that lives up to its hype.

So there are a couple things better about the roku stick plus vs the roku stick. 1- the power and volume buttons to control the tv. 2- voice control 3- sumwhat better picture although it's hard to tell the difference between them since it's such a small difference. Cons- 1- the amazon shortcut button was taken away and replaced with sling which we don't use. 2- two part power cord (it can get bumped and disconnected easily) Overall honestly I could have been fine with my old roku if the dog hadn't chewed my remote up, if it ever happens again I'll probably just go back to the old roku stick if it saves money..

I replaced my Amazon Firestick with the Roku and I am very pleased with the results! The only issue that I have noted is the fact that when viewing YouTube I note quite a number of "freezes" or "Speeding up" of video. Initially when I used the Roku there was none of the above symptoms happening, so I feel the problem is either acquired or I have problems at my end.

I bought one when my cable company switched to a mandatory box for each tv in our home. We have a professionally mounted tv in our bedroom and I didn't want to see wires so I tried Roku. About 2 months later I returned all but 1 cable box and use Roku throughout my home. Lowered my cable bill and have the convenience of TV anywhere in our home!!
