I bought a new wall mounted 4K HDTV for behind my bar and needed a Roku stick to stream content onto it. I bought this Streaming Stick+ as the reviews were good and I was pleased with how my old Roku 1 worked. The first thing I noticed is just how fast the Streaming Stick+ is, especially compared to my old Roku 1. Channels load real fast and the new stick is very stable. I'm actually so pleased with my Streaming Stick+, that I'm going to replace both my old Roku 1's with sticks.

I cannot believe how great Roku is! When I had satellite service I was paying almost $100 a month for a bunch of channels I never watched. Since I installed my Roku stick 2 weeks ago, I not only watch everything I want but I have been able to explore tons of things I never had access to. The subscriptions I've chosen only cost me $25 a month. What a great value for the investment!

I bought this stick to be able to stream TV. It replaced a blue ray dvd player which I was using but had freezing/buffering issues. The Roku stick is easy to set up, easy to use and works great. I was able to reduce my cable tv package and reduce my bill.

I've received the latest Roku Stick. It has the ability to power on/off the tv, and also can adjust the tv volume. Love that! There is so much free content on the Roku. You could browse for weeks. This is my 6th Roku. They just seem to be ahead of the competition. Can't wait to see what they come up with next!

Super easy to install set-up. It was up and running in a few simple steps. Crystal clear picture and since its mounted to the back of the tv, it is hidden. No more big cable box! And I like the feature on this model that allows me to control my TV with the Roku remote.

I've used an Apple TV 4, fire stick and the tried the Roku Stick+. The roku interface is simple and intuitive. The remote replaces the TV remote for power on/off and volume control. Unlike the Apple remote, there no accidently changing of channels. You also get amazon prime which Apple seems to be rolling out sometime, maybe? I wish The Roku would have been available when I signed up for Directtv Now. It would have saved me much frustration with Apple TV 4 and the very buggy fire stick. I have fast internet net and while the Apple TV is a solid streaming device, the absence of A prime and the sensitive touch remote makes the roku my streamer of choice. I also have a roku tv, the interface is superior to regular TV's. Wish Samsung, Sony or LG would adopt the Roku OS! Try it and you'll understand why the have over 50 % of the streaming market.

It is a lot faster and the menus are easier to read. Great device, the only issue I have is that I did not read the specs well enough to understand that the volume control will not work on external sound devices that are NOT controlled by the TV set.. Not a show stopper but a feature I really would like to have.

I bought this to replace my Apple TV. Nothing necessarily wrong with the AppleTV but I hate the ATV remote. Its way too sensitive...I like the Roku setup much better. That being said, I stream via DirecTVNow and the Roku does not work well with DirecTVNow. I get the blue box of death way too often, making shows completely unwatchable. I don't get this with the AppleTV and DirectvNow. So while I want to use the Roku (BTW, I have two other Roku devices) I can't until the issue with DirecTVNow is resolved. I may have to upgrade my Comcast internet service but I'm already getting 75+mb down speeds

Just got it yesterday and hooked it up right away. It took a little time on my end to get passwords entered but it's really nice to use. It's fast and the picture clarity is fantastic. It's very responsive to choices on the remote. I would, though, like to have the little strap on this remote that was on my old one. It's helpful when I'm rummaging around in the dark for the Roku remote to be able to find the strap and give a little pull. But I'm not complaining. I'm so very glad I replaced my old little Roku box.

We dropped Uverse and needed a streaming device. Purchased a Roku 3 and have been very happy with it. Decided I needed something for the bedroom so I could stream on my tv. Purchased the handy Roku stick and it has been great! Minimal setup time, easy to navigate and really enjoying all the channels I can stream for free. Best decision we ever made cutting that cord. Roku has been a great device for us and I would highly recommend it.
