Easy to set up Easy to use. We bought a Samsung TV three years ago and found the Samsung controller clunky and slow. We replaced it with a ROKU unit and have enjoyed this unit. I have both the Streaming Stick and the Streaming Stick+. Only pushback is that the Streaming Stick should include a HDMI extender cable, in the box, for those who mount flat on the wall. ROKU offers the cable, for free, but you have to order it online. I tried to order one today and the cables are out of stock. I bought a VIZIO sound bar which included every possible cable in the box. Thank you VIZIO, ROKU take a lesson.

I am a longtime Roku user, since the XD, I've owned 2 TVs and 4 devices, and have been a cord-cutter since 2015. I currently have a 2015 OLED LG TV hooked up to a Sonos 5.1 system via optical out. I prefer Roku's interface over LGs smart TV and was excited to see this 4K stick with a power button (having one remote is key in my house of 5 kids). While the Roku remote easily controlled the TV on/off, and would have controlled the volume of the TV speakers, despite a 3hr google search there was no way to control the Sonos volume. I did, however, learn that this is a common issue for owners of various brands of flat screen TVs hooked up to a sound system. I had to buy a Logitech harmony smart control/hub to control the TV, Roku, and Sonos.

I've owned 3 Roku devices over the past 6 years: Roku 2, Roku Express and now Roku Streaming Stick+, which has turned out to be the best. No lag or buffering, regardless of what I'm browsing or watching, which was a major issue with the first 2--but this one supports 5ghz and it's just faster. Also, once calibrated to your TV, the Roku remote allows TV volume control and will turn the TV off & on. Nice little touch of convenience. Overall, it's just a great device and well worth the price!

I bought this yesterday and it was SUPER EASY to install. We have 2 other Roku devices on our TVs. Our first was the standard Roku we bought years ago and it is still working. The second was a stick which we bought about 5 years ago. This one was by far the easiest to install and appears to be the most powerful. LOVE ROKU!

Bought our first Roku Plus a couple months ago. I love it. Simple to set up, love that it came with the USB & HDMI cord and batteries for remote - I didn't have to go look for stuff to hook it up! It connects to our subpar internet easily, and the remote controls the TV efficiently too!! Liked it so much I bought 3 more for the other members of the household. I do not know why someone would pay more for another streaming device.

I purchased this Roku model because my upstairs t.v. is a little to far from my WiFi, and this Roku has delivered on their advertisement. I no longer have buffering issues upstairs!! The ease of use is awesome. This is my 4th Roku purchase for my home: family room, 2 teenagers bedrooms and now my Master bedroom. Highly RECOMMEND!

I love my ROKU !!!!!!! At $108 a month, Directv has priced themselves out of my budget! Why did I choose the ROKU over the "other" streaming services? 1. The remote! I didn't want to use my phone as a remote. 2.Channel selection. I like a lot of the OTA network series, and didn't want to get a separate antenna. I get all the major networks with ROKU. 3. It's EASY! I'm not a techno nerd, just a grouchy old guy who wants to watch TV!

Got the Roku 4K streaming stick for my new Sony 70". It was a quick setup except it requires an extension cord to plug to the outlet. If i have one suggestion, i would power the stick through the TV somehow. One less cord to manage. Nowadays, people do not want to see the cord sticking out.

I bought two of these Rokus Streaming Sticks + because I had Roku's devices for 9 years, and they always deliver the best features for the price. This one is no exception, the voice command button is great for searching for hidden videos and movies, the volume and power button is all we need from the TV remote, brilliant. For such a small device, the performance is very good, and connected directly to the TV for power via USB allows the Roku to be turned off at the same time the TV is off, nice touch!.

I've been using 2 model 3's since they were first sold. After wanting to eliminate the clutter around my TV's, i researched what roku had to offer. I looked at the ultra at first but decided on the stick. No need to run HDMI or power cables. A major plus. Not sure how much faster it processes then my previous model, seems the same or maybe i just don't look into it that much. Another big improvement is the remote. Finally being able to control the TV's with 1 remote. It's only able to turn on/off and volume, but that's all I need. And it's very simple setup. I mostly use the Roku for Netflix and Direct TV Now, so I hope in future update the voice feature on the remote includes searching within those two programs. Also, I would have liked for the 4 quick select buttons towards the bottom of the remote to have been customizable. Maybe make them clear with colored lights that can be set to the program you want, ex. Red for Netflix, Blue for Direct TV, Green for Hulu. So far so good, would recommend
