I bought this about a month ago. Stick works well but the remote is a piece of junk. We have to take the batteries out or roll them constantly to get the remote to work. I would take it back but it worked for the first few days so I threw away the box and receipt.

My wife loves that there's nothing hanging around the TV. No more wires or even the box itself peaking out from behind the TV. The remote works great and I really like having the tv's volume controls on the Roku remote. It's hard to believe that something that small works so well. Overall I'd say so far, very good!

I bought a roku TV about a year ago, knowing very little about ROKU. I was completely thrilled with it so when I wanted to add streaming capability to an exiting TV - I considered the streaming stick - couln't be happier - quick and simplw to install and set up - works great!

I love the new TV control buttons on the remote. Especially when the hotel you are in lost the TV remote for the room you are in. The stick works great. Very fast, great picture, and great wifi range. Takes a while to setup, out of box, but once its done it is a great little device. I had the old Roku stick, which also worked well, but this is a definite improvement and I'd purchase it again.

I already owned two other models, but had been given a new TV that I intended to put in the basement with my bicycle trainer to make indoor riding less boring. After reading many reviews, I decided to take a chance on the Stick+. I liked the idea of not having a box sitting on the table, and the ability to adjust TV power and volume from the remote. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the TV's USB port had enough output to keep the Stick+ happy. I'm happy with my choice. I don't like, however, that there is no headphone jack on the remote. I won't need it for this application, but I don't like having to drain my phone battery if I want to keep from disturbing others.

I bought this one month ago. I recently moved to a new place in the country and did not want to spend money on a monthly satellite bill. I was able to connect wireless to my landlord's WIFI, which is located relatively far from where my TV is located. I have never had problems with the WIFI or signal, nor any interruptions due to poor WIFI connection. There is a large selection of free channels, and in addition, I can subscribe to Netflix or PureFlix for advertisement free entertainment. The streaming stick connects to the HDM1 port in the back of the TV, eliminating clutter.

Roku was reasonably priced, easy to install, easy to start watching and made my HD TV actually LOOK like an HD TV. I've never had a sharper picture screen! I've not experienced any system "glitches" and the user interface is easy to learn. I should have upgraded to Roku years ago! Love it!

I now have 3 of these and this latest one is fantastic. I also have a Roku Ultra and they are equally as good. The Roku Stick is easy to install, receives the Wi-Fi signal much stronger than the old Express device. Having the ability to use your voice to search is amazing as you can find what you want instantly. also it works very quickly getting to the guide and to any programming you desire to watch. Plus being able to control your TV's volume control and on off switch from one device makes it so much easier. I highly recommend this device for your best Roku experience.

Froze up,but my biggest disappointment was I use a universal learning remote because I use a sound bar and with the Streaming stick plus I am not able to teach either of my remotes its functions.I know the Roku remote programs to my tv but like I said I use a sound bar which does not program to the Roku remote.It will not let me.It works on my Roku 3 fine. I can not stand having multi remotes laying around .So I guess after my Roku 3 dies I will have to look for another brand.

I purchased three of these devices......I am so impressed with the ease of use, the compatibility with our cable company, the super fast wireless connection to name a few things! I prefer using this to using the cable box......I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't tried it myself. I was able to turn in two cable boxes and use the Roku to access our entire cable station line up......there is no lag when watching shows, the offerings of streaming stations is downright incredible! If you receive a channel on your local cable television, you have the ability to download many of the stations on the Roku which then gives you the ability to see shows on demand and there are a ton of them! We are not yet ready to cut the cable cord but the Roku has certainly performed beyond our expectations! It actually works better than the apps built in on our "smart" televisions! Great alternative to cable television and our local cable company recommends the use of ROKU to save $$$ on cable bill and eliminate need to run cables!
