This is my sixth Roku device, and by far the hardest to setup. On the initial start up, after the "dancing" Roku letters, it would simply stop - black screen - at which point the TV would shift to cable input instead of the HDMI input that the Roku was plugged into. It did this repeatedly. Then I found that by rapidly pressing the home button on the remote during the initial screen, it would finally go into its setup routine. Then, while I got it hooked to the main router, it would not find the signal from the wifi extender. I then restarted the extender, and finally got the Roku to recognize it. Once it got hooked to the extender, it is in fact very fast at streaming. Much much better than the standard Roku stick that I was using before. So five stars for its performance, but downgraded a star for the setup difficulties.

Love it. Major improvement in speed and definition over our older generation streaming stick. Simple setup. The picture on our ultra 4K TV is outstanding. So long cable and satellite. We have a Tablo attached to an OTA antennae and it works beautifully. Also use Netflix, Amazon, Sling, and HBONow.

I've been very happy with the Roku product. I am able to watch all of my streaming services such as Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime. The Roku Stick comes with it's own remote which even controls the tv power and volume. It's so nice to be able to use a single remote again! Now the Roku is about to pay for itself several times over when we cut our cable out of the budget!

I just bought this. I've had it for 2 days. And on the second day the roku tells me that the USB On my tv cannot power my roku. When starting up, it always says low power. And it brand new. The remote is not very sensitive, I usually have to press the buttons twice every single time I want to select something or go back or any other button I need to press

I've had a roku box for about four years and I decided to upgrade recently from the box to the stick. I think it's great! One remote for everything, no long cords, small and easy to hide, it's like nothings there! It also works great and the picture is perfect it's just like HD TV!!

I've owned 3 Roku devices over the past 6 years: Roku 2, Roku Express and now Roku Streaming Stick+, which has turned out to be the best. No lag or buffering, regardless of what I'm browsing or watching, which was a major issue with the first 2--but this one supports 5ghz and it's just faster. Also, once calibrated to your TV, the Roku remote allows TV volume control and will turn the TV off & on. Nice little touch of convenience. Overall, it's just a great device and well worth the price!

I was skeptical about what the quality would be streaming. I hung a spare television in the garage for when I work out. Anyway, I was skeptical what the streaming would look like since the garage is far from the wireless router. The quality is top notch no interruptions.

This is my first streaming device and I've been using it for about 3 months and I love it. So far I've only added free channels, but I'm really amazed at how much content there is, i.e. movies and TV channels. It was very easy to set the device up using the on-screen instructions. There are so many channels that it takes time to browse through them, but I'm in no hurry.

Easy to set up Easy to use. We bought a Samsung TV three years ago and found the Samsung controller clunky and slow. We replaced it with a ROKU unit and have enjoyed this unit. I have both the Streaming Stick and the Streaming Stick+. Only pushback is that the Streaming Stick should include a HDMI extender cable, in the box, for those who mount flat on the wall. ROKU offers the cable, for free, but you have to order it online. I tried to order one today and the cables are out of stock. I bought a VIZIO sound bar which included every possible cable in the box. Thank you VIZIO, ROKU take a lesson.

I cannot believe how great Roku is! When I had satellite service I was paying almost $100 a month for a bunch of channels I never watched. Since I installed my Roku stick 2 weeks ago, I not only watch everything I want but I have been able to explore tons of things I never had access to. The subscriptions I've chosen only cost me $25 a month. What a great value for the investment!
