I have the Roku 2, Roku 3 and a Roku tv, now this one. They're all great for streaming but I wanted to make sure that the remote had the voice search button since my Roku tv remote does not. I'm liking that feature a lot, it's very convenient. What I didn't realize is that it doesn't come with a mute button. I just assumed that it came with it since my Roku tv has it that I didn't even think to check for that until I set it up and used it for the first time. I thought I would be able to just use one remote but still have to use the tv remote for the mute feature, very annoying. Why would they put it on older remotes and take it off on newer models? That's the only reason I didn't rate this 5 stars.

I've had several roku's and they've all been very good in my kids like them a lot. I got this one because the 4K streams very smooth. My only complaint is the volume control on the remote can't sync with my Pioneer receiver so I have to use 2 remotes. Also, i cant use my universal logic tech remote to control the roku. Other than that its awesome.

I now have 3 of these and this latest one is fantastic. I also have a Roku Ultra and they are equally as good. The Roku Stick is easy to install, receives the Wi-Fi signal much stronger than the old Express device. Having the ability to use your voice to search is amazing as you can find what you want instantly. also it works very quickly getting to the guide and to any programming you desire to watch. Plus being able to control your TV's volume control and on off switch from one device makes it so much easier. I highly recommend this device for your best Roku experience.

The good: works fine, good quality and features. This is my third Roku, all have done the job. The bad: the stick wouldn't fit into the slot where my old stick fit; then it wouldn't respond to commands when installing. It finally worked out fine, though I have no idea what made the difference!

Just received this yesterday, installed it and all of my channels from my other Rokus populated immediately. It works extremely well with my Samsung curved 65 inch television and the high definition 4K looks superb. I'm loving this Streaming Stick so far. Very easy to install and the Roku remote worked well with my television and sound system.

We streamed content thru a Blu-ray for a few years.....used a brand known for excellent WiFi reception. Well, we replaced our older Blu-ray with a new model,which was supposed to be better....it wasn't. We were able to struggle thru the last year until we bought the Roku plus at my wife's request, as she was tired of her shows being interrupted and reloading.....ALL PROBLEMS SOLVED..... if you need a device will give you the best WiFi reception for a problem area, TRY THIS

I love my ROKU !!!!!!! At $108 a month, Directv has priced themselves out of my budget! Why did I choose the ROKU over the "other" streaming services? 1. The remote! I didn't want to use my phone as a remote. 2.Channel selection. I like a lot of the OTA network series, and didn't want to get a separate antenna. I get all the major networks with ROKU. 3. It's EASY! I'm not a techno nerd, just a grouchy old guy who wants to watch TV!

I have two Roku Streaming Sticks, the Express for the bedroom and the Streaming Stick + for the living room, which I am happy with both units. The Stick+ is plugged into an Onkyo AVR with a Vizio 4K/HDR tv and delivers an excellent picture. So glad I dropped cable! My only complaint is since I plugged the stick into the AVR I can not use the Roku remote to turn the tv on/off and eliminate the tv remote.

I have three of these on each of the TVs in different locations in the house. With fiber running to the house and fast connections to every other device in the house, these three Rokus are constantly buffering. If you hate yourself and love to watch movies 30 seconds at a time before having to buffer, buy one. I used to love Roku.. it's a shame.

I bought a new wall mounted 4K HDTV for behind my bar and needed a Roku stick to stream content onto it. I bought this Streaming Stick+ as the reviews were good and I was pleased with how my old Roku 1 worked. The first thing I noticed is just how fast the Streaming Stick+ is, especially compared to my old Roku 1. Channels load real fast and the new stick is very stable. I'm actually so pleased with my Streaming Stick+, that I'm going to replace both my old Roku 1's with sticks.
