I bought this yesterday and it was SUPER EASY to install. We have 2 other Roku devices on our TVs. Our first was the standard Roku we bought years ago and it is still working. The second was a stick which we bought about 5 years ago. This one was by far the easiest to install and appears to be the most powerful. LOVE ROKU!

I have enjoyed Roku for many years, but with one (two?) complaint(s) —- always needing TV remote to turn on & off and most particularly volume control. The latest Roku generation solved my problem(s), so I upgraded. Now if there was only a TV Input Button to switch HDMI ports I could totally put the TV remote in a drawer.

I have been using the Roku SS+ for a few days. It is much smoother and faster than the Roku SS (no plus). Picture is great and response time is smoothe. A few new navigation things to get used to, but has been easy to discover. Tv power and tv volume on the remote is excellent to have! The only small downside is the directional buttons on the remote are a bit noisy.

I purchased this Roku model because my upstairs t.v. is a little to far from my WiFi, and this Roku has delivered on their advertisement. I no longer have buffering issues upstairs!! The ease of use is awesome. This is my 4th Roku purchase for my home: family room, 2 teenagers bedrooms and now my Master bedroom. Highly RECOMMEND!

This was meant to replace a Roku LT (at least 3 years old) because the LT is in a cabinet where it doesn't get a strong wifi signal. The TV (Sharp) where I intended to use the stick + did not have enough capability to power the device, which was a huge disappointment because it didn't solve my original reason for buying the Roku stick. I liked the idea of the stick, so I moved it to the bedroom to replace a Roku HD unit (also at least 3 years old). Because the TV (LG) USB port in the bedroom will power the stick, it did allow me to reduce some wiring behing the TV, BUT every time the TV power's on, the TV shows the USB port for several minutes on screen. Kind of annoying, but not a fatal flaw. I am choosing to keep the stick + because it is much faster than the Roku units that I had been using and it does allow me to reduce some wiring behind the TV.

Easy setup, however, it would be hard for an older person to setup. Too much computer. The only thing I am disappointed with is that there is no earbud/headphone access on the remote. It should be a standard feature on all the remotes. We have it on one and we use it more than we thought we would.

I highly recommend the Roku Streaming Stick+. I needed to replace my Roku 2 after almost 5 years, and the Streaming Stick+ was the best product for my tv. Very simple set-up, and as soon as I signed into my Roku account, everything from my previous Roku synced up. The apps are much easier to use on this model, the software works beautifully, streaming is smooth. Definitely worth the upgrade.

I have 2 other roku devices on my smaller TVs. I had a large LG Roku TV but it was damaged in a house fire. I recently replaced that TV and unfortunately it is a "smart TV" but not a Roku tv. I watch Philo as my TV and could not do that with the smart TV interface. I needed a new Roku. I suppose I would have been fine with the simple stick but I really like the ability to use both the 2.4 and 5G signal bands if I need to. This does exactly what I wanted it for without the fancier (but not necessary to me) features that some of the higher end models have. Set up was literally a minute and everything was running and I was watching the Science channel again

We got our new streaming stick a couple of days ago and it was super easy to set up. The codes for my TV worked and it's really convenient to control the TV's volume and power with one remote. This streaming stick is slightly faster than the previous model which is good. Picture quality is better than the previous model as well but that's to be expected. I would definitely recommend.

I just bought this. I've had it for 2 days. And on the second day the roku tells me that the USB On my tv cannot power my roku. When starting up, it always says low power. And it brand new.
