We bought this new Roku Streaming Stick 2 weeks after purchasing a new 28 inch Samsung TV. I was using a 19" screen for over 5 years, in my bedroom. The difference from my old Roku to this new one is amazing! My daughter told us about Roku, and I do not miss cable or a satelite dish one bit. I have so much to watch. We also use Netflix and You Tube for Hallmark Movies, and so much more. Thank You Roku!

I fell in love with Roku about two years ago. Low and behold, my wife says, “this 32” tv isn't cutting it anymore...” we get a 55” 4K tv. My son took the small tv with the Roku stick. I looked and compared for two hours before deciding on the Roku+. Not even a little disappointed! This thing is AMAZING!!!! I get experience tv in such high definition in ways I did not know was actually possible, it was very quick to set up, and the response on this device is so much quicker. I don't have much intel on those other guys, but I love the fact that Roku has all the access to the channels out there; I can purchase channels that I actually want along with the streaming options of the big companies out there. All-in-all, I don't think I want to try another device because this really has all the options I want. Very satisfied!

Have been using a ROKU for years. They always work very well, true 60fps streaming and the content is massive since ROKU is an "open source" platform. SMART TVs limit you to whatever content they license which is usually limited to a select few apps.

Our TV is located on the other side of the house from our Wi-Fi with many barriers to block the signal. I had my doubts that this Roku would be able to receive the signal even with the enhanced receiver. Not only does it receive the signal but it's buried behind the TV and sound system in a corner of our home where I thought the signal would certainly be blocked but we get a better signal than we've ever gotten from our very old Rokus.

I bought the Streaming Stick plus for my new 65” smart tv. The set up was easy and it works. I love not having the clutter or boxes & receivers around the tv. This thing plugs into the back, can be powered by a USB port, also on the back of the tv so it is great. This is my second Roku. I cut the cable cord over a year ago and haven't looked back since.

I have only had the system for 3 days and have figured out of “how to” things on my own already. I am not a techie person. I was confused as to how the subscription and pricing worked initially, called customer service and they were great. Walked me thru it while on the phone. Anxious to see if it works as well in Canada. I was able to find curling as well.

I decided to give Amazon FireTV a shot and the interface seemed so much more grown up. However, I had nothing but problems with all three FireTV's I bought. I switched back and Viola! all the issues I was having went away. This streaming stick + is a nice addition to the family, its quick and responsive and does what you want it to do. Love it.

I just bought this device on November 30 2019. I will not do anything. I would select a language and then enter my wifi. After that it wanted to update which it wouldn't do. Once the update was finished it would go straight back to the select a language. I was in a chat with one of the support teams and they informed me that I had a defected device and to exchange it for a new one. I did exchange it for a new one and the same thing is STILL happening. This time I called the support number and all of a sudden it started to work. Once I got off the phone with the team member, I was about to set up all of my accounts but as soon as I went to set up my netflix account it would not load the app. Then it did a reset on it's own and ended up going back to the select a language page. I called once again and explained what had happened and I was told that there is nothing wrong with the roku device and that it was my internet. Well let me tell you it is not my internet because if it was then NONE of my other devices would be connected. I will NOT reccomend this streaming stick to ANYONE there is too many problems with it and the support team doesnt know how to help. I will be going to amazon fire stick.

I like the Roku Stremaing Stick+ but a HUGE issue in that the power button on the remote control will turn on/off the TV but it will NOT power off the stick device...it only seems to auto-shut off after and hour or so... big issue when streaming acct only has 2 simultaneous logins and 1 is being used by a stick that really isn't being used. I've asked repeatedly to support for a firmware setting to allow auto-shut feature to be user set to 1 minute rather than ~1 hour as it stands now.
