Heard great things about Roku streaming stick. Decided to give it a try, so glad I did. Works great ! Beside the new features , my TV is the furthest from the router. So, now I have no problems receiving my shows. The new features are turning my TV on and off, plus adjust the volume. Plus it has voice remote. Great job Roku !

Using in garage with limited space on small 720p TV. Nicely packaged with good instructions. Worked only with 5GHz wireless signal even though 2GHz has an equally strong signal on-screen with an AC-type router. Would be good to have a disclaimer in the instructions rather than time spent troubleshooting the router. The set-up was fine afterwards. The streaming is fine in the garage without any buffering (not sure how 4K streaming is at 5GHz). The remote has less range versus a non-Stick version (I assume it is due to the Stick located behind the TV). The Stick seems much warmer compared to non-Stick versions . Overall, good alternative for the location or for travel use with 4K capability.

Bought this yesterday. Was having difficulty getting Sling TV to work properly. This made all of the problems go away. Works well, even in a 3300 square foot Ranch style house. Worked so well, I went back and bought another one for the guest room.

We have had several Roku devices, the last time we bought the stick and within a week one of our dogs got ahold of the remote....we were unable to find a replacement remote that wasn't as much as buying another Roku. We finally broke down and bought another. The only reason for the 3 stars is that Roku needs to make replacement remotes cheaper because accidents do happen.

I have 2 other roku devices on my smaller TVs. I had a large LG Roku TV but it was damaged in a house fire. I recently replaced that TV and unfortunately it is a "smart TV" but not a Roku tv. I watch Philo as my TV and could not do that with the smart TV interface. I needed a new Roku. I suppose I would have been fine with the simple stick but I really like the ability to use both the 2.4 and 5G signal bands if I need to. This does exactly what I wanted it for without the fancier (but not necessary to me) features that some of the higher end models have. Set up was literally a minute and everything was running and I was watching the Science channel again

I like the Roku Stremaing Stick+ but a HUGE issue in that the power button on the remote control will turn on/off the TV but it will NOT power off the stick device...it only seems to auto-shut off after and hour or so... big issue when streaming acct only has 2 simultaneous logins and 1 is being used by a stick that really isn't being used. I've asked repeatedly to support for a firmware setting to allow auto-shut feature to be user set to 1 minute rather than ~1 hour as it stands now.

I've received the latest Roku Stick. It has the ability to power on/off the tv, and also can adjust the tv volume. Love that! There is so much free content on the Roku. You could browse for weeks. This is my 6th Roku. They just seem to be ahead of the competition. Can't wait to see what they come up with next!

Hookup was very easy but wouldn't it be easier to have one long cord instead of piecing it together. Also, you still have to point at the tv to make it work. Other than those 2 things I found it to be great. I like not having to see another piece of equipment on the shelf. This is hooked up to a new smart tv that did not give me my Acorn channel. Now I have it and easy to use and see again. I love my Roku! I have 3 and couldn't imagine not having it. Don't like streaming thru game box.

My other Roku was OK in the beginning ... but after a few years when a lot of gray started showing on my channel pick ...realized I had to upgrade my internet and then use a newer Roku product; as I am far away from my router. Best gadget since the cell phone!

We've been using Roku's for years. We have 3 televisions in the house and 3 Roku units. I got the new streaming stick to replace an older Ultra. This unit has all of the functionality my old unit did in a smaller form factor. We like that it doesn't have an HDMI cable and power cord hanging down below the tv as well. Just hooked the Stick in to an available HDMI port and plugged the power directly into a USB TV port on the back. I'm planning on replacing my other two older model's with this one as well.
