I have 2 other roku devices on my smaller TVs. I had a large LG Roku TV but it was damaged in a house fire. I recently replaced that TV and unfortunately it is a "smart TV" but not a Roku tv. I watch Philo as my TV and could not do that with the smart TV interface. I needed a new Roku. I suppose I would have been fine with the simple stick but I really like the ability to use both the 2.4 and 5G signal bands if I need to. This does exactly what I wanted it for without the fancier (but not necessary to me) features that some of the higher end models have. Set up was literally a minute and everything was running and I was watching the Science channel again

So easy to set up and use. Now that Spectrum has an app, you can eliminate cable box rental. Also nice not needing to find space for bulky equipment. Love that you can adjust volume using Roku remote. Highly recommend product for streaming. So glad I bought this.

Had the Streaming Stick+ for a few days now, everything works as expected - EXCEPT the TV control functions, it turns on TV OK, control volume, BUT it does not turn off TV and I am not sure why. Hence the 4-star for setup. Bought this to replace ROKU 4 as the remote/base unit starts to act funny. ROKU remotes have been VERY UNRELIABLE. I had problem with ROKU 2, 3 and 4, some DOA and some dies after a year or so. Will see how this one does... 4-star for value since I had to get a new one every year, it seems. Also the website crashed during the initiation process, not sure why but had to wait 2 hours or so before I can get the TV back :-(

I was a skeptic, but I have a 2017 smart tv that NEVER updates, so I really needed this in order to watch more apps. It has all the apps I currently need, and makes my tv faster than it was. My modem is in the same room as the tv, so the response is super fast. Love that I only have one remote now too. So far it's working very well for my needs.

This is my 3rd purchase of Roku device and current one is loose wireless connection every few minutes. My family can't even complete any single show with out getting frustrated. I checked internet/wireless service. All other wireless device works great. Not sure what to do.

I've received the latest Roku Stick. It has the ability to power on/off the tv, and also can adjust the tv volume. Love that! There is so much free content on the Roku. You could browse for weeks. This is my 6th Roku. They just seem to be ahead of the competition. Can't wait to see what they come up with next!

I bought a new wall mounted 4K HDTV for behind my bar and needed a Roku stick to stream content onto it. I bought this Streaming Stick+ as the reviews were good and I was pleased with how my old Roku 1 worked. The first thing I noticed is just how fast the Streaming Stick+ is, especially compared to my old Roku 1. Channels load real fast and the new stick is very stable. I'm actually so pleased with my Streaming Stick+, that I'm going to replace both my old Roku 1's with sticks.

I bought this a week ago and finally set it up it was so easy to set up. I love the fact that I can not use a second remote but can use this Roku to turn my TV off and on. It has volume and you control on the remote I love it! I don't have to use two different remotes I love this improvement. I have two others and I bought this one and I just love it!

Good upgrade from original Roku Stick that died on us, the added volume and power buttons to control the tv are very useful. Other than an issue with the usb port from tv not supplying enough power to device haven't had any other problems after plugging into an outlet w/ included adapter and cable.

The Streaming Stick may be the best way to cut the cable and stream content. Its compact size makes it convenient to install and allows for easy portability. The setup is seamless and simple. Anyone can do it. The Stick also performs flawlessly and supports 4K HD. Its amazing that you can get such high quality visuals in such a small package. If you're in the market for a streaming option, the Roku Stream Stick+ is the way to go.
