We cut the cord over a year ago and purchased our first Roku for the family room, we love it, we just purchased the second Roku for the bedroom.. the Ruko stick, it was easy to hook up, less than 5 minutes and you have hundreds of programs to watch, we are very pleased with both purchases and getting rid of satellite and constant price hike every other month,

I bought my Roku 3810r 2 months ago & I'm over all very happy with it. The only difficulty was setting up my Roku Account online because I had difficulty entering my E-Mail Adress & your very very picky website kept rejecting my E-Mail Adress. But I FINALLY got it set up! Whew!!! :P

I have enjoyed Roku for many years, but with one (two?) complaint(s) —- always needing TV remote to turn on & off and most particularly volume control. The latest Roku generation solved my problem(s), so I upgraded. Now if there was only a TV Input Button to switch HDMI ports I could totally put the TV remote in a drawer.

My order arrived sooner than expected great.I like how it's self contained you have two options i have the stick n the HDMI port and plugged n the ubs port.If your set doesn't have the juice plug in2 wall outlet.Perfect i just have1wire n the outlet.

I have the old roku 2 and holy moly the stick is awesome. Much faster and i can just plug it in with the USB. Only down side using USB as power is ROKU shuts down when you turn off the TV. Ones you turn on the TV takes few seconds before it loads up. This will be perfect when we travel, we watch all our shows at the hotels we stay at.

Absolutely horrendous product. I have an older roku streaming stick that has worked fine for years on my TV. A few weeks ago I purchased the newest version and when I tried to install it the screen went black. Tried multiple times with the same result. I returned it and got a new one thinking that it was the stick. Tried to set up the new one tonight and had the same issue multiple times. So I called Tech Support. He was convinced that it was an issue with my TV not being compatible with the stick. I told him that the older stick has been in there for years with no problem so how could a newer technology not be compatible with a newer TV? He still claimed that it was my TV and it wasn't compatible with the stick. The website says it works with all HD TVs. I am beyond livid at this point.

Roku is where entertainment begins! I bought it so I could watch a couple of web sites on my TV. The websites were much clearer on my TV and there were so many other free channels I could also sign up to use. I spend more time watching shows on Roku than I do on my TV. I love that I can use the mic to search for what I want. It's definitely worth the extra money!

We own a Roku ultra and moved into a new house that didn't have a connection that was hardwired and I didn't want to drop a cable. I was skeptical if our connection would be fast enough but it works great and looks good without all the wires. I give it an A+.

I purchased this after buying a Roku TV. The Streaming Stick was added to my plasma TV. My main complaint, news feed will not load, customerservice lacking. There is a News feed I think it's from AOL under the Home page, these feeds will not load. They spin for about a second then nothing. I submitted a ticket to Roku 5 days ago, still no reply except 1, someone will get back to you in 24 hours. I considering returning it going back to the Amazon stick as I don't know if the device has a problem that I will regret. Rebooting it, unplugging it, setting it back to factory standards still hasn't fixed the News issue. Some pluses...... Oddly this device does have a nighttime listening mode, this isn't a jack for ear phones, but a dynamic compression pushing the loudest noise and the softest towards the middle. This is a very nice feature, it needs to be added to the 32 Roku TV. The dongle WIFI is also a plus.

I decided to stop paying double for cable and purchased three Roku+ sticks and SlingTV instead. Wish I would've made this decision a long time ago. Better than cable, I have more options and pay half the monthly price with streaming services and internet. Love Roku!!!
