This is my second Roku - the first one was the Ultra which works great for the living room that has surround sound and more features then the stick. I split the Ultra three ways (bedroom,music room,living room) and decided to have a separate stick for the bedroom and travel. Works great and picture quality is comparable to cable and satellite.Saving money each month sure helps too.

I already had 2 roku sets in the bedrooms but I bought one for the living room and just love it. I got the one that now turns the tv off and on and handles the volume so I only need one remote. The other features that I like are the improvements on no longer having to pay unrealistic prices for cable and satilite.

I've had Roku for last 5 years and love it. The Streaming is great. The only problem is that you have to order the free HDMI extender when the stick does not fit. I have to inagine this happens quite a bit considering it's lenghth. So, my question is why they don't just send it to begin with. They send the addition charging supplies in case your tv will not charge it using usb cable alone. So basically I brought it home excited to use it. I deactivated my old one only to realize the stick would not fit and I would have to wait 3-5 business days to get the extender.

I'm very please with my new Roku stick and appreciated the instructions informing me that The USB power connection may not provide enough power. My WiFi fit router is located in my walk out basement and the TV is upstairs on the 1st floor. No problems with wireless reception.

We've been using Roku's for years. We have 3 televisions in the house and 3 Roku units. I got the new streaming stick to replace an older Ultra. This unit has all of the functionality my old unit did in a smaller form factor. We like that it doesn't have an HDMI cable and power cord hanging down below the tv as well. Just hooked the Stick in to an available HDMI port and plugged the power directly into a USB TV port on the back. I'm planning on replacing my other two older model's with this one as well.

This is our third Roku. My wife purchased our first Roku 2 XS for the 32" TV upstairs. After buying a 43" TV for the NFL games in the living room I bought a Roku 4 for that location. This new streaming stick replaces the Roku 2 XS. It is so convenient and space saving. No cable is needed as it plugs directly into the HDMI port. No power block cord is required either, because the included short mini plug power cord connects to the USB power on the TV itself. The Roku remote has voice command as well as controls TV volume too. Very pleased with this device.

Have been using a ROKU for years. They always work very well, true 60fps streaming and the content is massive since ROKU is an "open source" platform. SMART TVs limit you to whatever content they license which is usually limited to a select few apps.

I have enjoyed Roku for many years, but with one (two?) complaint(s) —- always needing TV remote to turn on & off and most particularly volume control. The latest Roku generation solved my problem(s), so I upgraded. Now if there was only a TV Input Button to switch HDMI ports I could totally put the TV remote in a drawer.

I bought my Roku 3810r 2 months ago & I'm over all very happy with it. The only difficulty was setting up my Roku Account online because I had difficulty entering my E-Mail Adress & your very very picky website kept rejecting my E-Mail Adress. But I FINALLY got it set up! Whew!!! :P

I have the old roku 2 and holy moly the stick is awesome. Much faster and i can just plug it in with the USB. Only down side using USB as power is ROKU shuts down when you turn off the TV. Ones you turn on the TV takes few seconds before it loads up. This will be perfect when we travel, we watch all our shows at the hotels we stay at.
