I already had a ROKU stick, needed a 2nd one and so ordered this one. The remote that came with this one INCLUDES the ability to sync with the TV and control off/on and volume (previous remote did not have that, we had to switch back and forth). I have had no problems with my old (and yes it's old) ROKU stick or with this one.

After the version 10 update, my Roku Streaming Stick+ seems to function, but none of my channels will load not even the Roku Channel. I just get a white box with the channel name that says loading with the swirl, but nothing else. The channels will not load. I have restarted the unit several times with no luck. My other 2 Roku Express are ok. Please help.

I have owned multiple Roku streaming stick's, this one is by far the best to date. The remote upgraded with TV volume and power control, one remote does it all now. While some people may think this to be no big deal, one remote really does make things much more convenient!

Just received it a few days ago. Background is that we have a bonus room over a garage and just cannot get enough signal to run an older Roku unit. Tried a pricey wifi extender. Didn't help. This new Roku seems to have the extended range, as promised. Set up was lightning fast. Have watched multiple episodes of favorite series and the connection remains solid. Hoping this is the solution!

This is our third Roku stick and we have been very pleased with the upgrade to model 3810. Great speed,clearer picture, and so far,no buffering. Also, a better choice for those of us with WiFi extenders. We really enjoy the free Roku channel for the old TV series and Western movies.

I just received this. I own three other Roku streaming devices. My Ultra completely quite working after two years. In that time frame my first remote quite working in 6 months, the 2nd one that Roku was nice enough to provide as a replacement only lasted one year. I would not waste money on the Ultra. In that same timeframe I owned two streaming sticks on other TV's. They are still working great. My new streaming stick was easy to install and it looks to be even better than my other streaming sticks. The remote with mute button is fantastic. Recommend the streaming stick as the BEST BUY.

Had an issue setting up Streaming Stick +. It got stuck at 'Auto Detect display settings' - during set up. It froze at that point. And there was no easy resource for a workaround - even after Google searching for a resolution. Very frustrating! I figured it out on my own. I had to continually press the 'Home' button on the remote, as the Roku was 'booting'.

So far so good using the stick +. It picks up signals well and stream nicely. My one crab is when you use the TV as the power source instead of plug, the start up takes too long in my opinion. At first I thought something was wrong with it but all my sticks do the same thing. Since the cord Roku provides is not long enough to reach a outlet in most cases., using the tv usp slot to power it is the most convenient choice.

I have a TCL Roku tv and was disappointed with the remote, you have to point it directly at the tv to turn it on and everything else. I purchased the Steaming Stick Plus on Black Friday and hooked it up. I still get a great picture and use the same remote to turn on the tv and can point the remote in any direction.

When first setting this up, the Roku froze at the auto detect 4K feature. After googling, it seemed like this wasn't uncommon. I unplugged it, waited, and it proceeded to connect after that. However now whenever I turn it on for the first time that day, I seem to have to put the remote directly next to the streaming stick for it to initially work, then I can go sit back down and it will function properly. The 4K is wonderful; a big difference between my older roku.
