I bought this Roku yesterday to replace the Roku Express that we have been using in the living room. Our old one started to freeze fairly frequently and we wanted something we could connect to our 5 GHz connection. The only reason this isn't getting a five star rating is because every so often I get a message that the Roku has low power. I believe it's from the power cord being plugged into the tv but I honestly don't want to have to run another power cord considering everything else that is plugged in by the tv.

I have been a Roku user since having Roku 2 xd.Roku is the best streaming device. the new streaming stick is wonderful, it is very user-friendly, very responsive, easy to install. I like being able to not have to use the power adapter. I really like using the Roku app so that I can use the private listening function. My only negative point is I use the Spectrum app and in order to page thru channels you have to go one at a time come on now this takes forever.

Just installed the Roku Streaming Stick+, 4th Roku streaming stick installation. Easy installation and easy to follow set-up instructions. Like the added mute button on the remote. Would like to enter channel numbers instead of scrolling thru the channel list on some apps, only reason for a 4 rating. The "+" has much better WiFi connectivity and less buffering.

We are full-on Roku in our house, with five devices. The product is almost perfect EXCEPT for the horrible "point anywhere" remote. It has poor range and frequently unpairs. I have to re-pair the remote almost daily. Roku's advice? "Change the batteries." Did that yesterday. And the day before. And the day before that. Fix your remote, Roku.

Just received it a few days ago. Background is that we have a bonus room over a garage and just cannot get enough signal to run an older Roku unit. Tried a pricey wifi extender. Didn't help. This new Roku seems to have the extended range, as promised. Set up was lightning fast. Have watched multiple episodes of favorite series and the connection remains solid. Hoping this is the solution!

I have used Roku sense early introduction and this Roku streaming stick Plus is my very favorite device. I love the volume and the power button on the remote and the 4K pictures are beautiful. I appreciate being able to enjoy my 4K television with my Roku. It's a really good value for its price as well.

I already had a ROKU stick, needed a 2nd one and so ordered this one. The remote that came with this one INCLUDES the ability to sync with the TV and control off/on and volume (previous remote did not have that, we had to switch back and forth). I have had no problems with my old (and yes it's old) ROKU stick or with this one.

I bought the Roku Streaming Stick + six weeks ago and cancelled my high price cable company and never looked back. Very easy setup and user friendly menu. Hundreds of free movies and TV apps to choose from. Providers have very reasonable rates if you choose to use one. Wish I would have bought the Roku a long time ago and saved a ton of money. Love my Roku and you will too!!!

Purchased this an an upgrade to the Stick I had used for a few years. Shortly after we began to develop connectivity and playback quality issues. After jumping thru a couple hoops with customer service the unit was ultimately replaced under warranty. The replacement unit again began developing connection & playback issues after a couple of months. Now after 2 mos of dealing with BS from customer service I'm told it's an ISP issue. Except that all my other devices connect & stay connected just fine even while the Roku+ experiences a problem.

We just cancelled our cable tv service and have one large tv with the ultra Roku device, one Roku tv that is new, and now this Streaming Stick for an upstairs tv, and with the wireless technology built into this Streaming Stick and cords that are so easily joined together and then plugged into a power strip on the same shelf as the tv,, there was no problem in getting instant tv with the Roku screen. I just used the computer in my office downstairs, to access my Roku account and enter in the code for the tv upstairs, and then it also downloaded, automatically, the streaming channels we had chosen previously on the other tvs also using Roku. It was SO easy, and the remote is the only one we need to control the tv now. We just put the regular tv remote on a storage shelf. WE REALLY LIKE ROKU!!!!!! We use all three tvs EVERY DAY.
