i bought this to update an older Roku express that has become very sluggish in the last year. the streaming stick is great. it works great with my harmony hub, is very responsive, and loads videos quickly. the video quality is also fantastic. i was surprised to see that it did not work with my 2012 Sony Bravia tv's USB port due to insufficient power, so check on that if that is a requirement for you. Having said that, it did work with a 2009 Samsung and would have worked well had i plugged into the wall with the included plug.

Works fine, expect: For some reason, Netflixs when in HDR looks very washed out/faded. Prime looks fine. Netflix HDR on Fire TV looks fine. If you are buying this for Netflix HDR then understand that the image may look bad. Seems to be an issue with the app. This issue has been reporting on the Roku forums.

It gives a great picture and is easy to set up. My only complaint is that it doesn't have a guide for all subscribed channels. For example, I had a Fire TV that had a guide that showed what was on Playstation Vue, Pluto TV and my local channels that I get OTA.

I purchased this Roku stick for Christmas to treat myself. I have used Roku streaming devices since 2010. This plug in stick sounded like a great idea. It works fine, but I don't like how it sticks out from the back of the TV & the older style USB connection seems odd. The cable connects at the distal end of the stick & is two pieces. Overall, an awkward design. The remote is quite narrow & slippery & the volume control is on the right side of the remote. It would have been better on the left side of the remote. So I basically am not thrilled with the design of this stick or remote.

I have used every streaming player on the market and RoKu Won! The user interface is very intuitive! I cut out the cost of multiple cable boxes and replaced with RoKu (6 and counting). It is a great product that could be made even better if it had a HD Antenna and access to over the air HD via main screen. Not a 75ohm connection but something small with a thin long range antenna. The remote is pretty unbeatable too but it could be even better if you could double click the down volume button for TV mute.

We bought this as an upgrade for our original Roku that we've had since 2010. This new one is AMAZING! The feel of the console is wonderful. Very innovative. Aesthetically pleasing. The picture quality is amazing as well. The same shows that we assumed were poor video quality due to Netflix now look 100 times better. Also love that you can control the tv volume on the Roku remote. It's amazing!

I received the streaming stick as a Christmas gift as I had the original streaming stick and had been using it for several years. It was outdated and I could have used an upgrade, but the original still worked. I ended up giving it to my children. However, I love the power and volume buttons on the new remote even though we experienced some difficulty getting it to work with my TV. I also love that I can talk to the remote. I have also noticed that the streaming is better on the new one as it does not take as long to load an episode. It did not take very long with the old streaming stick either; this one just seems to be faster.

Received it as a gift for my birthday, roku wont accept any remotes and doesnt show up on my wireless network. Factory reset it, remote still wont pair. Tried the remote on another roku and it worked just fine. Also tried the remote that belongs to the other roku we have and it wouldn't pair. We like having our roku but this one isn't as good in comparison to our older model

We have had the roku stick for about 2 weeks now. It works as good as the premium that we have. The little thing that I absolutely love is the TV volume and power buttons added to the remote. Makes my TV remote clise to useless and the install was entirely seemless. There was literally no extra steps over the premium roku because it identified my TV automatically. I've always been a roku guy and I thought about trying some other brands just for the experience. After some research and some "expert" friends opinions I decide to stick with roku and I have no regrets at this point!

I had to get a new box with my current cable system, I would have to have one for each TV and pay rental on the boxes. Instead, I purchased the Roku stick and I am not only able to hook up to my cable system, but I have tons of free movies and TV programs to watch on a number of stations. Instructions to set up were easy, big plus for me as I am technically challenged. And I keep finding channels that do not charge! I have already recommended it to all my friends.
