I originally purchased a Roku 2 for a research project I was working on. I liked it so much, I bought Roku 3 as soon as it came out. Then bought another one for our TV in the den. The Roku Streaming Stick + is easy to install and works great. To be perfectly honest, I haven't used all of the advanced features yet, but it does exactly what I need it to do superbly.

I am very happy I purchased the streaming stick. It only have one issue and its not really the stick but the remote. My XL Roku remote has headphone connection. That option is not available on the Streaming Stick Remote. I love the TV power button! It eliminates the need for two remotes. I also love the button to access Netflix and Sling, but I wish it allowed us to program our "go-to" channels as I don't use Hulu and Vudu. Overall a great product.

This stick was a replacement of the 3600x. Well somehow this stick made my TV experience look a bit more 1080p. Much more detail in viewing. Tad dated UI, but hey it still works fabulous, no clutter. Sadly remote is less than tacktile then prior remote. Really got hit those keys. However many beautiful App remotes compatible which I prefer anyway. Bottom line it's very much worth the price for sure. EASY SETUP! Go for it.

I've owned several different streaming devices and this Roku is by far the best one yet! It allows for downloading of my cable provider app so I can stream my cable thru it without the need for a cable box to receive digital channels. No cable box rental fees!!!! I love all of the features and easy install. A must have!

Spent several hours reading the online help for error messages: Message: HDCP Unauthorized continues to come up, even after going through auto detect for screen display. Also,, audio will not work. Went through the Roku online customer support, received an email that question was indeed submitted and a CSR will be in touch, but never received a follow-up from customer service. Sent a "cancel" request to customer service when, after following directions from a non-Roku help site, was able to re-set my smart TV and get the Streaming Stick+ working.

Smaller isn't always better, but in this case it is. It replaced a 5+ year old Roku. All the apps look different and act differently. Took some readjusting, but I like the new look. All the apps I had on my old Roku transferred to the new one without me having to add them back. An added bonus is I can now get HBO Now. Couldn't get that to work on the old one.

Roku has begun to randomly remove channels. Spectrum is no longer available. Customer support offers no explanation other than to play the blame game. We all know who loses when customers are pitted against big corporations. What will be the next channels to be removed Netflix's, Amaozon Prime ? In this day in age you have to ask yourself. Do I really need a Roku when most smart TV all have streaming capability's to stream your favored providers app.

The Roku Streaming Stick is my third Roku device (I now have Roku's for all three TVs in my home). All devices have been easy to install. The directions are very clear. But the best thing about the Streaming Stick is the voice remote. I had voice controls on my remote when I had cable TV and loved that feature. So now that I only stream, I am thrilled to be able to use voice controls with my Roku device.

I upgraded from my old Roku just to have the voice capability and am very disappointed. It does not recognize anything basic i.e. go to CNN live, find ABC, etc. It always give me something different, or says it does not have that. It's basically a useless feature.

Just upgraded from the basic streaming stick, we were having a lot of issues with shows freezing and couldn't connect to our higher speed wifi connection because the basic stick doesn't support it. So far it's 100% better, only had on freeze issue and had to restart the app. The picture seems sharper too. Also, like that I can no power on/off the tv with this remote and adjust the volume with it
