I have owned several Roku devices since generation one and rarely had a problem with any of them. This one has given me more grief than it's worth. First the remote does not work all the time. Usually the stick has to be power cycled and/or batteries taken out and placed back in the remote. Customer service sent me another remote it has the same problems. I was sent an extension for the Roku stick and it didn't fix a thing. Since using that extension on the back of the TV the stick now drops connection and the WiFi has to be reset every time I turn it on. The router is within 5 feet of the TV and has a range that reaches outside. It's not the router. I have faith that my next Roku device won't have this many problems. I don't have faith that the problems will ever be corrected on this one. I was hoping to be able to use the 4K but may revert back to my previous HD stick and just put this one in the closet.

Increased wireless performance vs my previous entry level Roku product. Not enough info out of the box to perform a seamless setup on a slightly older TV. Setting it up on a no frills PC monitor of the same vintage was simple, and quick. If more setup info was presented in the box/starting web portal, and did not require 3rd party info my review would have great+.

We bought two Streaming Stick+'s so that we could "cut the cord" since the cost was becoming too outrageous. Setup was pretty straight forward and we found a lot of content to watch. However, after two weeks here are some of the issues we found, but were easy to fix. One issue that arose is the wireless signal interference from neighboring homes. We live in a townhouse block with four adjoining homes. We could pick up the signals from these homes, with the signals that were coming from homes on either side of us just as strong as our own wireless network signal. This caused problems with the remote and with the Stick as well. We found the solutions after searching on the internet. The first is that we used an extension HDMI cable to bring the stick out from the back of the TV to the front where it was more exposed. The TV is in a cabinet which we read could help block the signals from the remote. I bought a cheap HDMI extender cable from a big box store and installed it between the TV and the Stick. When we did this the remote operated much better, but the picture was affected. We found out you need to make sure you have a high speed HDMI cable rated for 4K@60 Hz, otherwise you're not going to get a picture. Once changed Roku worked fine. The second solution was to change the channel on which the wifi network was operating. You can determine what channels are the least congested and switch your network to operate on that channel. This made a big difference. We bought the two Roku's on sale, so we feel we got good value for what we are getting.

I previously had one of the first Roku models and with my room so far from the router it wasn't streaming properly anymore. The Streaming Stick + was a HUGE difference! I now have fast, high quality streaming. Even the picture quality on my TV looks better. The remote has voice search which is soooo much faster and easier than manually typing out what I'm looking for. The remote also controls the volume and on/off function on my TV so I can do everything with one remote. I was blown away with how much I love my new Roku Streaming Stick +

I bought this streaming stick for my grandson's room/guest room. It was easy to set up and looks great. I love that the remote also turns off the tv and changes the volume. I have Roku 3 on my other two sets and they don't do either function. Nice

After becoming frustrated with the rising cost of my cable bill I began to research ways I could cut my cable bill. I found roku thru reviews provided by the Cord Cutters newsletter. I especially like the ease of setup, navigation, and adding channels. I also like the feature that I can control my current TVs with just one remote. Thank you Roku in my cord cutting journey.

I was gifted the Roku Stick for Christmas. I previously had the original Roku. Great upgrade. I love the voice activated remote. Huge convenience to be able to power on/off my tv and control volume from the Roku remote as well. The stick plugs into my USB port for power which saves me an outlet plug. Overall this is a compact easy to use is a great investment! Highly recommend!

I've had this about a month now. It was a little hard to get used to not just turning on the tv and finding the usual channels I watch but cutting out the expensive cable bill was so worth it. I can't find some of my usual shows but I've found others to watch. Between my curiosity and the emails being sent it gets much easier every day.

I haven't bought a roku for a very long time, the one we have has been a champ and working for years! I decided to add one to another tv, this was so much easier to set up then the previous one. Just plug in and off it goes and the picture is great. I love the streaming stick has can pick up the router from a far distance.

This is my 3rd Roku Stick and it is the best option available. I use on a smart tv and have the internet access to the smart tv turned off because the Roku is much faster than what is built in to the tv. Also the number of apps available for Roku is much better than the smart tv.
