My nutribullet just stopped working after several years of faithful service and I decided to give the Ninja a try. Well, it is absolutely fantastic!!! It is powerful and surpassed my expectation, The increased capacity is awesome, now a blend a large batch and can refrigerate for later. Love it!!

This Ninja is not my first one. I have had a Ninja single serve blender for several years! Always loved it, but it got a little hard to lock on to base, so I just got a new one. This is great chopper, blender, smoothie maker; all in record time!! I love it! It’s wonderful to chop veggies,cooked meat, etc to make salads. Be very careful washing the tall part with the 3 blades!

I love this so much that I have now bought this same package for my daughter last year and then for my other daughter last week (she begged for it after seeing mine). It has earned its place in my kitchen for coveted counter space and is one of the few appliances to stay out all the time. I started drinking smoothies for breakfast, and this is simply the best way to do it. No mess. Literally, I just rinse off the blade and that is it. There is NO cleanup. When you compare the horsepower on this machine with anything else on the market, it's like apples and...well, teeeny baby apples. :) This thing has 2 to 3 times as much horsepower as the others. I had a choice between the Ninja that was only the smoothie maker and it came with the 32-oz blender cups or paying a little more and getting this DUO with the 24-oz blender cups. I love the blender, so I got this (all three times when I bought it). Most of the time I really want a bigger smoothie (and yet, I've lost really quite a lot of weight drinking even the large fruit smoothies). So, 24 ounce might be big enough for most people, but I ended up buying replacement cups at a bigger size. I still would buy this set just so I could have the blender. Speaking of the blender, this one solves the problem that I've always had with blenders where you have to stick a spoon down in there to get things to mix up halfway because they don't blend evenly unless it is just liquid. That doesn't happen with this. The stuff that is on the top smooshes down to the bottom like magic. It just works perfectly throughout. It crushes ice better than anything you could ever imagine. So, I sound like a paid infomercial, right? I'm NOT. I paid my hard-earned money for these. I bought them repeatedly because they are great.

So much quicker and easier to make smoothies than a regular blender. A word of warning: there's a reason it's called "Ninja". Make extra sure you know where your fingers are in relation to the blades at all times...they are quite unforgiving if you touch one by accident while loading it into the dishwasher.

Finally, an economical blender that is powerful enough to completely pulverize even frozen fruit into the smoothest of smoothies. And it doesn't give the usual impression that it's about to blow up. Its suction cup feet really work on a smooth counter top. I'm totally okay with just the 3 presets. Having 10 like some others has never been useful. It's built-in on-off sequencing was a surprise, but it makes sense after seeing it work.

I bought this when it was on sale and I wanted to make Smoothies. This does the job extremely well! I don’t like pulp and I put a whole peeled mandarin orange and some fruit with spinach and it came out absolutely delicious! No pulp and very smooth! I will say it’s very loud but it’s only about a min of loudness. The small blender attachment for the cups is good if you use powdered smoothies or want to refresh your already made smoothie.

This is the second NINJA I've purchased- I accidentally broke my pitcher on the first one and a replacement cost was more then it should be. It was a better value just to replace the whole thing. That said- It's the best blender I've ever owned! You won't be disappointed if you decide to buy this Ninja.

I replaced a 9-year-old Vitamix with this blender. I use it primarily to make smoothies and sauces. I think it does a great job. It doesn't crush ice quite as finely as the Vitamix, but it only costs about 20% of what it would have cost to replace the Vitamix. You also don't have to use a pusher to get everything to reach the blades, and the Ninja blades and containers can go in the dishwasher, which is not an option with the Vitamix. Both are noisy, but the Ninja is slightly less noisy than the Vitamix.

I bought this primarily to make smoothies, it does not liquefy the ingredients. Has many chunks and grit.

Waste of money! I thought this was going to be a great blender for the amount of money it cost. Boy was i wrong! Even with the blades going up the length of the carafe it still left chunks of fruit in every smoothie i tried to make. I tried all different kinds of fruits, but all of them ended up with chunks. I was so dissatisfied i returned it. I was already on the fence with it being plastic for $80, but not even blending, no thanks. I'll stick with my glass $30 black and decker that actually blends.
