Easy to use and works great

I bought this to replace a Krups grind and brew. Very happy with the Ninja.

Versatile

So much more than just a coffee pot. And only takes up one appliance space.

Too much trouble

Picked up followed instructions very noisy drips over and out of carafe used less than recommended amt of coffee way too strong poured out boxed up going back love my Kurig better ! Not worth the cost big and bulky can't put under Cabinet because steam comes out top while brewing

1 week of use thus far; not impressed

After a week of daily use, it seems the Ninja Coffee System probably isn't for me. I was looking to replace a Cuisinart 12-cup coffee maker and a Keurig K-cup system. Saw this at my local club (and on discount) and figured it may be a useful "two birds, one stone" type solution for the coffee makers that needed replacing. I'm not particularly interested in the extra bells and whistles on the Ninja; likely won't ever use the "specialty" or "cafe forte" capabilities, the frother, or any of the other unique features or recipes. I simply want something that can make a full pot when needed and a 2-4 cup pot when needed (K-cup replacement). With this machine, whether using the "full" brew setting for the big pot or the "travel mug" or "XL travel mug" for the small pot, I cannot get it to brew properly flavored coffee. And I'm certain it isn't the beans, roast, grind, or any other variable outside the capability of the coffee maker. I'll likely give it another week or so of attempts, but I suspect this thing is going back on my next club visit. If it turns out my experimentation this upcoming week with different amounts of ground coffee and filtered water for each particular brew setting solves my dilemma, I'll amend this review and upgrade my overall rating. One final thing that kinda bugs me about this machine... the water reservoir. The Ninja machine never uses all of the water each time I make a pot. There is always a couple ounces of water that remain in the reservoir. I believe this results from the pre-measured quantity brew settings of the maker's operating system and the reservoir not playing on the same sheet of music. Perhaps the old Cuisinart spoiled me by not making the water reservoir visible (and therefore, not something I ever noticed), but the knowledge of the Ninja letting water sit in the reservoir until the next pot is brewed is disconcerting for some reason :( I did not have any spillage or water mess as some of the other reviewers have documented. Overall, at this time, I can't recommend the Ninja, especially since Sams offers others for far less $
